My that was close. I know that you will all be very disappointed to hear that Margate & Tonbridge both lost in the cup.

Not a classic by any stretch of the imagination, but we did the job (eventually) against a team who clearly came for a draw, and last season would have probably got it.

Just wonder how many goals those people who habitually leave 5 minutes before the end have missed this season. We're certainly a team that go right to the end.

We won ... another step closer to a Wembley trip in May next year !!. Jay was certainly glad that we didn't have to replay that one, but he did trudged off the pitch in a sombre mood ... We made ameal of this today and the crowd was very subdued ... Maybe it had something to do with the presence of "undercover" security that was amongst the fans in the Townend !!.

It's not like it is difficult to get away from the ground. Strange. We could have had no complaints if it didn't go our way. Brentwood weren't great, but worked hard and frustrated us for most of the game. Onwards and upwards.

Well done to the players for the result. As for the atmosphere yes it was poor but who do you blame the club or us the supporters for allowing it to happen. At the end of the day we should be able to support the team without the threat of a ban hanging over us for saying or doing the wrong thing.Surely the team would prefer to have some vocal support and encouragement then play in front of a morgue every time.If we dont sing its wrong if we do its wrong so we cant win either way

Is it really not possible to show your support without using vile language or throwing drinks over people.

Have to give Brentwood credit, they stuck to their game plan and very harsh to not come away with a least a replay. Not sure whether I'm the only one that thinks this but I think they have been the best side we have played at home this season so far. Though well done to Jay and the boys, kept going to the end as usual. Onwards and upwards in the FA cup as they say.

Make no mistake, Brentwood were a decent side and so I think we need to give Jay and the boys a bit more credit. The game on Tuesday clearly took a lot out of the players and this was never going to be easy against a team who were unbeaten in 10.
The two teams who have inflicted defeats on us this season have both gone out today to lower league opposition and so I'm pleased with today

Yet another game this season where we've got a better result than maybe we would have got last season...sign of a top team and good team spirit thanks to the manager(s)

I, personally, have moved on the terrace a couple of times this season because of comments I wish to be disassociated with both objectively and personally. I do accept that it is a football terrace and we can't be too puritanical about things but the comments I moved away from were fairly disgusting and, may I add, illegal. Let's put things right with a good but pleasant atmosphere on Tuesday night at Witham because I ahve to say that the away games have generally been more pleasant than the home games I have attended. If anyone wants to think about the 'incident' at Margate, the fact that there was a debate about drinks being thrown over people at home games and that their fans were discussing it on Twitter then please feel free to make the links.

Should we get him then? ... ours is a bit rusty at times ... Oops ! here I go again making a negative comment about a team player ... Jay May is an experience player but apart from "holding the ball" he reminds me of Jerome Sobers last season ... gangly and at times akward on the ball. It's a shame that Flish has reverted to the wing, but it's nice to see him cut in to a central position where he is a threat .... Someone, somewhere said that he ought to be playing at a higher level and I wouldn't disagree too much on that subject, but glad that he is throughout a Maidstone lad and he loves his club.
