Not really, much easier getting to home games when you live up this way. Houses are worth more as well.
Anyway, M2 north, M25, A12 to Felixstowe, ferry to the continent, drive down to Calais, ferry back to Dover then go past Deal onto margate.

What about going alone the A20 to Charing, take the left fork up the hill, now when you get to Challock roundabout you can turn left to Faversham and join the M2 then the Thanet Way or go to Canterbury, on to Sturry, then to Sarre meeting up with the roundabout at the end of the Thanet Way. Take the Margate turning go via Birchington,Westgate, the ground is up George V Ave at the end turn right into Hartsdown Road, the ground is on the right. I hope all that intend to go make the the game and 'Come on you Stones' .

I honestly think it's easier to drive around central London than Maidstone. The road network here is a complete and utter shambles.

Sorry just spotted my mistake, ground is on the LEFT. It's on the right if you've come from Ramsgate and who wouldn't !!!!!

Better still go up Charing Hill. Go past the little parade of shops on the left and take the left turn that is on the bend of the road. Follow it all the way to the end and turn left on to the A251. Nice little shortcut for you. Little local knowledge. Lucky I bought a house in Herne Bay. Beneficial to you SIs as well as me now. Nicer quality of life here. I paid less for my house than over there. Mugs the lot of ya.

Good shout sir, according to the Maps of Google, that should save me all of two minutes, or just over one mile, on my journey.

No fuel saved for me I live in SittingbourneKENT houses a lot cheaper when I moved here in 1982. Have fun all those coming from Maidstone. I'm just leaving now to get there early. COYS
