Richard Davies was chatting to us tonight and said that he is getting there. He reckons it will be another month before he is ready for first team action. He said it is about being able to twist and turn on his knee now.

Amazing how many players who were highly rated by supporters end up playing in a lower division. Maybe the management actually do know best sometimes. And before anyone had a go, I include myself in the above statement.

Quite often players move to lower clubs for a variety of reasons at this level e.g less travelling, less training etc

2 quality right backs gone Why faith on Sullivan ? Dont we still have Richard Davies and the triallist Aaron Simpson ? Has looked more than comfortable so far
Great to see Orlando back in action today Miles and watt look a formidable pairing at the back too Impressed with Rogers in the 2 games ive seen him in so far too Looks like he has a good engine on him

He's very good with a strong footy back ground. Solid.

Hint there at mertsham they ain't all that Last season Fabio was fifth highest goalscorer and Rory Hill came in eighth (one of his goals was that opening day beauty against Wealdstone). The much revered Michael Phillips got less goals than them so we need to get rid of him. Rory Hill also picked up 3 man of the match awards in the period to January. Trying to pretend that Rory Hill didn't perform at all last season is laughable. There were certainly a couple of games I stood at when he seemed the only carrying the game to the opposition.

Brilliant point - these two players were goal threats - are all our new players equally capable of scoring ?

Brilliant point - these two players were goal threats - are all our new players equally capable of scoring ? Time will tell. It is very early to make sweeping judgements/statements, but we often see different things in different players. in my humble opinion, Rory Hill was, is and will continue to be a good player and someone I hope we won't miss too much in the forthcoming season
