His bowling is still on the money this season - He needs to find his batting Mojo in a hurry! I want to see him doing some biffing at TW this weekend. ? Hitting - the ball out the park at Neville Ground - Tunbridge Wells.

Cricket is a game watched by desperate saddos whose next stop in life is bus spotting.

Stevens routs Surrey to move top of rankings — 25/07/14 Shows what a mockery the rankings are. He "routs" a Surrey U14 side, with players rested as qualification to the QF had already been secured, and he gets ranking points. Shame he couldn't "rout" a few senior sides first XIs, then you might be joining/replacing us in the knockout stage

Alan Knott, Mike Denness and Colin Cowdrey are Kent legends, not sure you can put anyone since in the same class. Of course, in those days Kent used to win things.

I can go back even further to the days when we opened with Arthur Fagg and Arthur Phebey with fast bowler Fred Ridgway and the immortal Godfrey Evans behind the stumps. I seem to remember in those days, the fifties, we had more county grounds than any other and apart from the Nevill in Tunbridge Wells and Mote Park I can remember seeing games at Dartford, Dover and Folkestone as well as Canterbury. Happy Days!!
