Scored 8 goals in approx. 30 games in late 2009/10 - Jan '11 for the Stones in the Homelands/Wilderness period.
Actually a really sublime header of the ball...............

Hey it wasn't all bad........................Halesowen, Mildenhall, Tonbridge, Newport (IOW), Beckenham, Moonshot Athletic (at Gravesend), Whitstable (at Folkestone), Folkestone, Sevenoaks, Winchester, Snodland, Walton Casuals Out of all those it'd got to be Halesowen.Close second Walton casuals then folkestone. All good in their own way. Mildenhall was probably one of the booziest and the non-stop noise despite getting gubbed 3-0 was great. Winning at Tonbridge when still Kent League was great. Newport was just a fab away weekend with an emphatic 4-0 win and the very quick Steve Marshall hattrick. Beckenham sounded very exciting although I didn't go. Moonshot was the excitement of a cup final with a decent crowd and a very late equaliser followed by an extra time winner. Whitstable saw the stoppage to the game for cans of beer being thrown at the goalie. Avoiding relegation at Folkestone, with the last minute goal line clearance by Bert was one of the truly great away days. The 3-3 at Snodland when they scored at the end and thought they had won only for us to gallop up the other end and equalise in injury time was made even better by loads of Stones fans running on the pitch to mimic the ridiculous OTT celebrations of the Snodland manager a few moments earlier (didn't he look silly). I can still picture looking up the pitch to see Jimmy Reed jumping about in demented fashion. Winchester was a lovely sunny day 3-0 cup win although I was unable to actually stand up for most of the match because I was so hungover after going to a wedding reception the day before.
