Signs from Welling, CF/Winger. Looks like a permanent signing.

Looked a good player in our pre season game with them! Let's hope he offers/gives us something we've been lacking since we lost Orlando !

Asked my connections up in Grimsby their thoughts on when he played for the Mariners before his time at Welling. Apparently very good, more of a winger than a striker and quick!

not too impressed, seemed a bit reluctant to go after a 50/50 ball, but his first game so cannot be too judgemental.

I guess the pinpoint crossing, creating at least two good chances plus the ability to run into very dangerous areas were wasted as he didn't run around aimlessly and get stuck right in!

I thought he had a disappointing first half, but was much improved in the second when he moved inside (I know he did that, RussC told me). I wondered if he's match fit yet - he certainly deserves another chance.

Rooney and Parkinson have done alright lately so I figure this guy has to be the new scapegoat by default really.

Dan Parkinson had a pretty good game today considering the opposition and one particular Turkish midfielder, a well deserved goal if you ask me

I thought he did OK for a first game (especially given what game it was). He looked a bit un-match fit and a little lacking in confidence in the first half, but improved a lot in the second. More than happy to have him in the side.
