You need to get a hobby, or sleep! Indeed. But I was too ill to sleep, so instead I spent two hours typing this rubbish out - knowing full well, all the time, that few, if any, of my predictions will come true. After all, if predicting games were that easy, there wouldn't be a football pools! (Is there still a football pools?) But at least it got more replies than my '3G - home advantage?' post - which took fúcking HOURS to write!!!

Wealdstone's game is off, we need a win today to put more pressure on them, they will have 4 games in hand but as I keep saying better to have the points on the board than games in hand

In the Ryman Premier, 5 called off on Friday, 6 with inspections Saturday morning, Maidstone have no inspection planned but then the Ryman league have the foresight to allow 3G pitches. Hope the whole Football Conference gets called off. & games of in the Conference so far.

I would agree with you, Toon, except when it's us with the games in hand and points to make up....

Tonbridge game off, that's one more attendee. That fella who secretly likes us and reports back to mangels forum. You know who you are. Have you tried the pies? Try the balti.

Plus having only played on Tuesday there would probably be some 'afters' with the possibility of suspensions for both sides!

they will have 4 games in hand but as I keep saying better to have the points on the board than games in hand Its not quite as simple as that though (unfortunately!): - The 4 games in hand are all away games - At the extremes - 1 point in the bank and 4 games adrift isn't very good, 12 points in the bank and 4 games adrift is awesome. Inbetween is somewhere inbetween! 4 points in the bank would be a struggle to hang onto. 7 points in the bank is marginal (at best)
