How on earth can a pie shop at a footy game RUN OUT OF CHIPS? Did they only take a few in case they didn't sell many?! apparently electrical problem meant the burger van couldn't work, and the Pie man said he wasn't told there'd me no competition! I really cant see why supporters get on Frannie's back, look at his goals, his assists and what other team in this division wouldn't want him? Eeeeeeeeeeeeexactly, leave it out with Frannie you ungrateful bunch off arses. He played a "number 10" role lastnight and so what he missed 1 or 2. Big deal. Daveu already said somewhere he played a more withdrawn role and he's cock on. "Oh bring back kingy"....arses you are and arses you always will be.

Last two games, Frannie was brilliant against Hampton and Richmond and was behind so much of the attacking play (do those who get on his back actually watch the highlights?)....scored one, set up a couple....most of those brilliant saves from the H & R goalie were from FC
Against Kingstonian, made the final pass to Kayne to set up the 1st goal (KW still had a bit to do)......2nd goal, FC again running onto a pass to lay it on a plate of Zac......

I thought the youngsters played really well, I liked the look of the keeper, looks a good prospect, Frannie and Zac both put a good shift in, the game however will never live long in the memory mainly due to the negative tactics that Burgess Hill produced, god only knows how they got this far

My own personal view. I would have left Frannie on the bench to give him a rest but looking at the starting lineup Jay had, I think Jay was right to play him as Captain as there was no Iniesta or steve watt or graham andrews or danny lye. Tommy mills was the only regular fist team defender although was nice to see a few of the under21s getting a runout. Will Godmom did a brilliant job. Burgess hill for their part stuck at the job in hand and played some very good football and can go away from the gallagher with their heads high. Must remark on the huge improvement of the burgers, mr pieman took all the abuse about slow service (and our money) with a big beaming smile.

Thanks faraway. But yet another well written, reasonable, fairly accurate, almost bloody neutral report - what the hell happened to the fan's-view reports we used to get? In the old days you could read a report on the game from an opposition supporter and hardly recognise it as the same game - they were unlucky, we should have a player sent off, the ref was a homer, the penalty should never have been given, the beer was piss, and call that a ground??? Sigh. We'll be shaking hands and wishing them well soon...
