My thoughts are rest Jack Parkinson for the next game. He is simply trying too hard!

On the Parky red/yellow card, I was standing right behind Worgan's goal at that point and think the incident represents something that has been happening throughout the game (and highlighted at the top level by Luis Suarez and Ashley Young). Basically the Kingstonian forward left his leg dragging to induce the free kick when he could have kept running normally and had a decent shot on goal. In my mind, that's the same as taking a dive.
Of course Parky should know better and should not be going to ground lunging for the ball like that as well so does need to calm down as has been pointed out.
Also, as per previous comment there was no red card when the penalty was awarded - clearly denying a goalscoring opportunity.
Overall, not the best ref but have seen plenty worse at this (and other levels) over the years.

My thoughts are rest Jack Parkinson for the next game. He is simply trying too hard! Stupid comment in my eyes about resting him we don't have any defenders as it is plus I though last 2 games at CB his done really well. Again I thought Jack was good on Saturday got caught under ball a couple of times in the 1st half but though he was good other than that made the 2nd goal as well with a ball to Frannie if you watch him as well his always trying to organise and very quick to encourage and although Iv misses last 2 away games before Saturday at the home games his very good and talking and helping the younger players in team. Agree maybe he could have stayed in his feet for the Yellow but if he doesn't try to win the ball there player was in on goal. I couldn't see from we're I was standing if he caught him or not but from watching video again we're was Jerome when the ball the played through. Did make me laugh seeing Zack thrown corner flag and nearly hit Steve poor Steve nearly took a right wack.

Many thanks mufctv - much appreciated.
As an old codger from the London Road days, I still can't get over being able to watch HD highlights of games at all, let alone not long after they were played. In the old days, we couldn't even get the scores and table soon after the game!
Nice ground they've got there, but it makes me think that Maidstone got it right not to build too big a stadium or expand too rapidly - it always looks wrong when there are big empty gaps in the stands, even if you know there was actually a decent crowd (by non-MUFC standards).
But, seeing how even a decent pitch like that can cut up so quickly, what on earth is the argument against 3G?? What do they want - a plastic surface where bits of it detach during the game, making the playing surface completely unpredictable, and where frequently used parts lose all the grass? Madness.

Yeah - of course. But it still doesn't look right. Imagine a 5,000 seater GS with 2,000 of us in it - still a good crowd, but more than half empty.
Oliver and co are right - they have to grow the stadium with us. Note that, even doing much better than expected in a higher division, we haven't added any more regulars. In fact (without checking the figures), my guess is our average might even be slightly down on last year - as the novelty element has worn off.

From another Old Codger of London Road days - when you were well lucky to even to buy a program for a game on a Tuesday night - even if you did have a spare shilling ! MUTV and Stones Live must both be the best links in nonleague football to keep fans of their team informed of what is happening in their club especially for folks that live far away - even if there are a few glitches now and again!!! Just finalized travel arrangements and bought tickets online for the Cray and Canvey games so will be there with a few of an old Maidstone family to watch the games, Really looking forward to joining you all at Whatman Way - just a pity Fremlins ( never liked Sittingbourne Beer ) can't be revived as well ! See you in the Spitfire. COYS

The Kingstonian free kick leading up to Jack's yellow card should of been re taken as the ball was clearly still rolling as you can see in the video another incident the officials got wrong so shouldn't of been a booking.

This year it's 1807 currently - so up just over 100

The attendances are up slightly but not growing exponentially. Non league clubs will always have limits to their attendances and to invest too much money on stands too soon is just a waste of money.

My guess is that we've lost a few as the novelty of the first season at home has worn off, but gained a few more following promotion and consistent form. Still, pretty bloody impressive compared to the old days. I know we got decent crowds at Dartford in the first Div 4 season, but my memories of London Road in the Alliance/Conference days were regular crowds of 300 or so (I may be wrong on this, but my old programmes are in the cellar, so I can't check). So, anyway, it looks like a 2,000+ stadium is about right for us at the moment. Looking at attendances in the Conference, the South seems to be much the same as the IPL, so I would imagine we're not going to need much expansion, but in the CP it's very different. With all the ex-League clubs there (and a fair few old Conference sides that have gone up and dropped down again), some clubs get huge crowds, and that seems to affect the whole division, with even 'normal' CP clubs getting decent attendance. (It's a VERY different place to the original Conference!) If we get that far, I don't know how Maidstone will predict what an affordable level of expansion is - but it's a nice problem to have!

Bill hinted at "an impressive devolpment" or similar in the last home programme notes does anyone know what this is. As if we are promoted it would take our capacity to 3000 which is a requirement i believe for conf south? Guess with the battle that is ongoing in our bid to be accepted this building work will need to be ready by july/august to comply or do they give us time to complete it ? Guess if we fail in our conf battle it wont be needed anyway !

seats behind one of the goals would be brilliant Have to be high up to be worthwhile - much higher than the existing terracing. I'd go for extending the sheds at each end, maybe extending the main stand (it it's not too expensive) and putting some terracing (or at least a few steps) down the sides - so those under 6' can actually see the game! In the long run, there's plenty of room for a stand behind the goal at the Town End, and maybe at the other end too (there's spare land that end, but I don't know if it's usable). It shouldn't be too difficult to raise the capacity to 5,000ish - and I can't see us needing more than that for a while!

I heard and please don't hold me to this but I had heard of plans to build a stand at the town end which would include a seated area, executive boxes and also a standing terrace, this could also include a food outlet.

I think they could up it to 3,000 relatively easily and cheaply. Without the H&S restrictions we have these days (imagine them at London Road, with its one exit!) you could probably squeeze 3,000 in now (and then it would really feel like a 'proper' game!).
From all the discussion we had about this last season, and the club's reactions, I get the feeling that the club and us have rather different priorities re capacity. Our priorities are to be able to get in even for big games, to be able to see the game properly, and not to have to queue too long for a pee, drink or pie. The club's priority is to make money!
Not that I'm criticising that attitude, after all, we need all the money we can get, and if you can increase capacity, or just comfort, and make money out of it, I'm all for it. But it does mean that when we have these discussions we tend to be disappointed or puzzled by the club's responses. For instance, at the start of this season I was impatient to see what improvements they'd made in the close season. Extra terracing, more seats? No, more loos and another burger van! (Still won't get me down the North End though - it's bleak up there!)
