Maybe I have a solution. We could keep the pitch as it is, play the FA Cup and other Cup matches there (up to a certain round)- and pre-season friendlies.
For the Conference south games, we could ground share with Sittingbourne or Ashford...or do Dartford have a ground now?

All too predictable I'm afraid. This was all about vested interests and had nothing whatever to do with real objections or the good of the game.
I can't see UEFA, FIFA or even the FA intervening. They always take the approach that as many decisions as possible should be devolved to the respective leagues. The courts too have tended to give weight to the special nature of sports organisations, even when a sport's rules contravene normally accepted business regulations.
I really hope we go all out to win the Ryman Prem now and heap the pressure on the Conference

The way the voting was set up we had to get a majority of 75% so we needed 24 or more votes out of a possible 32. If the vote was 21 to 11 in favour we were pretty close and shows that there is real light at the end of the tunnel. If it was 11 in favour to 21 against then it proves that the team above us are still in the dark ages. Perhaps someone from the club can enlighten us which way the vote actually went
