Very promising draw!
IF....we were to get there, where would the final be this year? I know it was at our place last year, but I doubt they'd allow us to play at 'home' in a cup final.

Bearing in mind the league match last season was the most god-awful 0 - 0 draw which arguably cost us the championship (I realise there are other candidates, away to Sittingbourne in particular), it will be interesting to see if we can break them down this time.

What ajolly good nights entertainment it was too, David, and it was lovely to see you exercise your legs and join us on the terraces.

I don't mind standing on the terraces at football, and usually do for the one or two away games I manage to fit in, but it's a fantastic view from the stand and well worth the earache from all the moaning. I guess my idea of football heaven would be the view from the stand combined with the chanting from the terracing (on a good day) but I guess you can't have everything and for me being able to see the game properly wins every time.

Yes, I much prefer being along the side of the pitch with a bit of elevation (Harlow, Harrow, Hornchurch) or 2nd best higher up behind the goal (Tooting, Dover, Tonbridge, Hastings). Standing behind a goal at pitch level is great when we score but for reading the game it's a non-starter (doesn't stop some people from trying mind...)

Mmmmm...in hindsight of the last 17 years I have been attending I think a good view of the game would have been important about 30% of the time

Would be interesting if its us and chatham in the final...now where would we find a neutral venue inbetween.
