I knew it - too easy by far....Maybe something a little more challenging will enhance the debate?... Historically, artists have been, and still are, the target of censorship efforts, often because of objections to the moral message carried by their work. In ancient and contemporary writings, philosophical and not, we find, explicit or implicit, the notion that "if it carries an immoral message, it is not real art". If one agrees, one must conclude that depicting moral evil in a way that makes it attractive, softens the suffering that it causes, or dismisses goodness, is an unacceptable waste of artistic talent. One could agree that artists have the responsibility to adhere to moral norms, and that the artworld should police itself. On the other side, one could consider such self censorship as an unacceptable violation of artistic autonomy, and claim that art ought not to be evaluated in terms of moral norms. Evaluate these pro and con, including pedagogical and philosophical perspectives. There - that's better..... Are you trying say that artists are attention seekers?

They are and no they shouldnt be evaluated by the norms that would be a very slippery slope

Here's some history. The Welsh have been oppressed by the english for centuries. It may explain why we are such an angry bunch. Oh the Earl of Richmond once landed his troops on a small beach off Dale Head in Pembrokeshire and walked them to Bosworth for a fight. which he won. Only by the assistance of a turncoat on the field up to then Richard III was winning. Anyway what you whining about most middle age archers and longbowmen in the english army were welshmen. And we were just as bad to the Scots and the Irish and our Jewish population and are Flemish and our oh hang on ...

If you are Island, one of my nipples is a different colour to the other 2. Is it something I should be worried about.

So, just a recap on this thread so far... Napoleon was slightly better than big nose Wellington, artists are attention seekers, myself and mellow just got pay rises and are now doctor's. Napoleon was more personally aimed than julius, we won Trafalgar by being crazy, Calais angleterre wishes to be a doctor, toon has a rash and jt has 3 nips.
Now then, who was the most successful king or queen of England?

Or Edwardus Primus Scottorum malius hic est - Edward I hammer of the Scots for getting on their tits more than any other
