Hi Chris.
We had all sorts of problems listening to the game today. Were you having trouble or was it our internet connection or something else at this end?
No matter what we tried we kept losing the commentary.
Sounded like a good win though.

Yes whilst doing the commentary I was aware that our broadcast server kept tripping out every few minutes. I kept trying to re-connect when I could but its difficult when you're trying to do commentary because your still recording the show for later listening. It was only after the broadcast ended that I realised I had set the broadcast bitrate to 360kbps by mistake (our server is set up to broadcast at 128kbps). This was causing the server to close every 5 minutes.
So sorry about that it was my error at our end. But at least we know what the problem was and it was the inept broadcaster rather than the machinery! The recording of the match will be uploaded to our website hopefully tonight so you'll still be able to listen.
So hopefully things should work OK for the Borehamwood game.

Thanks for all that info Chris - I am choosing to ignore Toon and Island since they sound like trouble makers to me  ?? I was beginning to suspect that my LT was either suffering from sunstroke or too many bikinis and overheating - a bit like me!!! Your International Audience much appreciate all your efforts to bring us the games live by the way. Hopefully, the ground improvement plan will involve the construction of a press gantry - above the Dugouts ? that you and Stones TV could share, with all Mod Cons of course - like central heating , maid pie service and even AC for summer games ? Sod a scoreboard. That would provide you with the peace to concentrate on the 'job in hand' and get you away from all the 'Riff Raff' in the main stand ! Regards All. COYS. |
