Had a lot of that game and a lot of chances but just couldn't put one in. First half, so many corners, Second Half great chances for Brown and Collin.
Special mention must be made of the blatant time wasting and other such stuff offered by Lewes, which the Ref - fair play to him - did add on time for. The Lewes Keeper had a great game but was a particular master of these dark arts.
Says a lot that already people are coming to The Gallagher looking to keep the point they started with.

We had the best chances, I counted 2 for them and they came in the first 5 mins of the 2nd half. They were very negative I thought and played for the point. I can't understand what Rory hill has done to not get on the pitch as he should have come on for Orlando, fresh legs on the wing may have made the difference.

Apart from a brief 5 - 10 minutes at the start of each half I thought Lewes were poor and in any other game we would have hammered them, I thought Boothy and Frannie played well up front and the defence also seemed assured, would have to agree not sure why Rory didn't get on maybe keeping him fresh for Monday, still unbeaten and now we look forward to Margate Monday, COYS

I thought we were the better team and Brown was again top notch and Boothy played some very nice 1 touch passes.. Thought Watty was back to his best and Sobers finally looked like player from last season. Agree with Binsey that the game was crying out for a Hill cameo!

Lewes poor??? I don't think so. They defended very well I thought. Obvious plan was to come for a draw and try and grab something if they could. Having said that we should have won it. Felt Rory should have come on second half as well as Dracs.

Sounds about as good as going to the cricket today. As many goals as deliveries. Still, nice meals and all that

Felt Rory should have come on second half as well as Dracs. Agree they got what they came for. Think Rory should have come on for Flish who didn't have a great game. Their obvious tactic was to waste time, certainly all of the second half but why did it take the ref until the end of the game to book their keeper for it, by which time it was a meaningless gesture?

My instinct would be to rest Flish and play Hill and Smith together on Monday. Smith can be frustrating at times bat he is always trying to make things happen, but I think Flish seems to be lacking a bit of self belief at the moment.

Resting Flish could go either way could hit his confidence more if he sees it as being dropped instead of rested. Im sure Jay knows him well enough to make that call.
He had lean spells last season maybe better to see if he can pull himself out of this one.
Games coming as thick and fast as they do i expect the whole team will need resting by mid September though!

Lewes are clearly a very decent side at the back a draw was probably a fair result overall, even though there was a fair bit of time wasting going on. Yes i also agree flish is struggling for form a bit not sure why his first touch and his passing seems to be letting him down maybe Hill and Smith at margate. My motm Steve Watt kept Ade quite..

dispite the score today I enjoyed it. we had our chances but just wasn't happening for us. as said before they came for a draw or a sneaky 1. their keeper is an arse, was a drag waiting for him to take the goal kicks. orlando's crosses were much improved. I think flish had a fair game, some people may find it frustrating cos he can put in top draw performances but he is only human. frannie had a busy game and sobers and watt were good at the back. good stuff all round just couldn't get the 3 points, that's football.

A game we should have won really, Lewes seemed more than happy to slow the game at every stoppage. No good the ref booking the goalie for time wasting in the 90th minute when he was doing all game. Hope not too many teams come and play like that but suspect a few more will, we just need to be more clinical if they do.
