Well if you do insist on pissing off to the cricket that's what happens.

He should get a fantastic reception, he's a top bloke and was a fantastic servant of the club and If it hadnt been for his tax status no doubt he would still be at the club, wow that would be some partnership Ade and Frannie

He will get an amazing reception I am sure. Who's to say we won't see him in a Stones shirt again? Stranger things have happened...

i know the squad aint the largest, but dont see why we couldnt get osborne and lye off the wages to make room for messi olorunda. sully first choice & davies back up at rb. we've plenty of midfield cover in lys position.

Top bloke, would have been nice to see him play one more season for us. As for the cricket, looking at the weather there wont be any!! but the gallagher will be playable

I dont understand why we cant afford him for tax reasons yet Lewes can. Anyone care to enlighten me ? I realise he came up from that way and travelling was an issue. But surely we havnt lost a great striker like Ade for the sake of a couple of trips a week to Hastings in petrol money ?? Frannie and Ade would have destroyed this division . Still gutted hes not with us anymore :-(

This - "I wanted to stay but we couldn’t sort things out. I’d had a promotion at work which put me in the 40% tax bracket, so I became too expensive for the club to keep" - sort of suggests the club were paying the income tax on his football earnings. Pitt the Younger would be turning in his grave!

Pitt the Younger would be turning in his grave! Or maybe he wanted a pay rise so the his after tax pay from the club was the same as before, plus if he was previously sharing travel costs with Tim he would need to compensate for this as well. Maybe Lewes were prepared to pay him more, plus the travel costs would be less? Don't know, just guessing!

He will get a rousing reception from the Town end. That I'm certain. No Olorunda's, we've got no Olorundas.

Never mind not celebrating - just don't score, Ade!
