What a game, worth queuing on the M25 for a couple of hours. The first 15 minutes was totally dominated by the Stones until Hendon fluked the opener against the run of play. Boothy and Frannie looked good together up front, Phillips and Brown look to be the ideal partnership in midfield. Orlando looks much better wide running at people. If both sides had scored the sitters they missed it would probably have been10 . 6 to us. Whatty came on and seemed to organize the defence late on, a special mention to young Sullivan at rightback, had a terrific game. Very good win by the lads today despite giving away 3 very sloppy goals

Was this match terrific or what ? 2.1 down 5.3 winners this is dream stuff enjoyed every moment off it. The only worry is the 3 goals conceded . We need to tighten up the back.

What did we play like? Apart from the obvious we let in too many goals, but to score 5 on the road is good, and three points more will do nicely, predict a tough game Tuesday night

What a game quite possibly one of the best I have seen, taking away from the horrendous defence display the game was open and attacking from both sides, I thought Frannie and Boothy looked good up front and played together really well, I also thought their keeper played well even though he conceded 5 he kept them in the game

As has been said, dominated until their goal which gave them a boost and it was even for the rest of the half. Dominated the majority of the 2nd half, the best I've seen of us as an attacking force since the start of last season. Sullivan made the best of the chance Davies' hamstring provided him with and Jay has a tough decision to make there. The midfield two picked up where they left off on tuesday, Brown is back to his 'brilliant' best and really seems to be the one to make us tick at the moment. Orlando is one of those who always looks for the killer pass/run, as such he will give the ball away a fair bit but it came off for him more often than not today. Frannie, as we suspected, looks far more comfortable as part of a two man forward line and there are signs of a good partnership with Booth...Frannie will be disappointed not to have at least got a hat trick today.
MOTM, several candidates but Browny for me

A game was one for the forwards there number nine looked a top player really hard for Sobers to handle. The game was one of the most end to end i have seen could have ended eight all both our top two had very good games but my motm easy Alex Brown ouzzes class..

Yeah we looked so much more better with that front 6! We had better shape and looked dangerous all game every time we got into there 18 yd box we looked liked scoring and on another day could of got 10! Flish and Orlando got the ball more and got in behind more to get dangerous balls in! If Orlando plays he has to play down the right it's where he's more comfy and can take any full back to the cleaners,Micky Philips holding a bit, browny linking up well with Boothy and frannie! Boothy holding up to bring the midfield into play for little balls into the channels for frannie it was good stuff! Long may it continue just need to cut out errors and get a bit more confidence in our defending! Watty needs to come back in we look a better back four with him organising stuff as we struggled for 45-60 mins yesterday! Browny the mom just ahead of frannie,Boothy and Orlando! Sullivan did well. Looking forward to tuesday

Yes this game was a goal-fest and so much better than the Carshalton performance, but let's not kid ourselves that BOTH defences were poor and contributed to the high-scoring game.

Agree with most of the above. Alex Brown and Orlando Smith just outstanding. We could/should have had three goals before Hendon's fluky deflected opener. Defence did look better with Steve Watt but by that time perhaps the fire had gone out of Hendon.

I couldn't make the game, I stopped in to watch green street, shave my head and pratice my scowl so I can be thought of as a wannabe hooli and segregated cos of my appearance and mannerisms. sounds like I missed a good one. well done the boys for a good away win and well done those who travelled to support the team. on we march, come on you stones

They describe Alex Brown as the chief architect on their forum, their no 9 Jefferson Louis will give each and every defence he plays against a hard time so we shouldn't beat ourselves up over that.
973 at Ebbsfleet, described as a good attendance for them
