Well if ever there was a reason to move to Herne Bay, Adrian has found it. A Chinese restaurant with an out of hours service. Wonderful I think anywhere that offers an out of hours service, sounds absolutely super to me

I bow to your superior knowledge of all matters to do with the police. I shall tell my employers for the last 17.5 years that what they have taught me is wrong. If you're interested I can explain the difference between breaching the peace, common assault, actual bodily harm, grievous bodily harm, grievous bodily harm with intent, sections 5,4,3,2 and 1 of the public order act. I can also throw in the football offences act of 1991 which will coves amongst other things the throwing of missiles, offensive and racist chanting and going on the pitch. I'm pretty sure you know it all anyway though. You seem to be getting on a high horse about something I have not said. I moved away from the breach of the peace, as a chargeable offence, mainly on your saying that people rarely get charged for it (they never get charged with it because it is not a chargeable offence, as we are getting pedantic). I am not bothered what people get arrested and charged for if they choose to misbehave. I am only reacting to Wealdstone fans' request to control the behaviour of some of their fans. I still find it interesting that people behave in a threatening way and are not charged with anything while others do something pretty innocuous and find themselves criminalised. Whether that is the fault of the police or the lawmakers I do not know but it seems fairly poor to me. Sorry that my opinion does not agree with yours. If you wish to continue to see my posts as an attack on the police and reply sarcastically then sobeit. You cannot explain anything factual about laws that I cannot look up so thankfully I won't have to engage in such a conversation

It was during the course of an evening. The police station was shut at certain times. They had a phone outside the station if you needed to contact the police. I let it ring for 15 mins but nobody answered.. I gave up trying to report whatever it was I was going to report and it, no doubt, went untended. A strange approach to crime solving if you ask me but being someone who cannot quote lots of laws and explain their differences from the top of my head I am not qualified to give such an opinion and must accept that the non-reporting of crime is the best way to solve it.

Not sarcasm here just curious. You felt something was important enough to stand outside a police station for fifteen minutes using their phone? I assume it must have happened within the very close area of the police station or you had a flat battery on your mobile or their was no one else about. With regards to attacks on the police I read enough blogs and anarchist sites to recognise what is and what isn't logical thinking. Most of the matters you have raised and example are those that normally come from the bean bag throwing crusty brigade who want to do nothing but destroy what other would consider to be a normal civilised society.

Indeed I did. I cannot for the life of me remember what it was. I did not have a mobile. It was in 1999 before I have one. Whatever I tried to report was in Worthing. As I said it wasn't so important that I needed to pursue it to death. I do remember thinking that it was good job I wasn't being chased by someone nasty and had run to the police station for assistance.
Not sure what your point about anarchist blogs is.
I note something and it is immeditaly denounced as coming from bean bag throwing crusty brigade who destroy civilised society. Personally, I think the biggest attack on civilised society has come from the people at the top of society and their greed. I haven't seen much in the way of action against them. Can I ask how many financiaers that robbed the country (with the aid of politicians)have attracted the attention of the police? I guess on that front I will remain crusty and throwing bean bags

If you are a crusty does that mean I can "push you down the stairs" then and say you fell" Only a little time Island. Tomorrow's Daily Mail will be available soon. I'm just going to jump in my hot tub for a soak.
