Dont seem to remember 150/200 turning up when we played you at Sittingbourne/Ashford. Much like you lot, we're a different club these days. The move to Ruislip has been a good one and crowds are on the up. Average of 549 in the league last season, well over 1,000 in for the play off semi final and 1,100 at the weekend for a friendly v Chelsea youngsters. Not at your level but certainly now the best supported semi pro club in London (and second only to Barnet out of all London non league clubs). Our away support has always been strong, but numbers very high over the the last 3 years including 400 to Cambridge United and 600 to Newport County during the FA Trophy run and 350 to Whitehawk last season. As a result, lots of work done to The Vale including a new stand built at the tea bar end of the ground completely funded by supporters. Good to see another club being well supported, but we all want to know is the famous Wealdstone Raider coming to the Gallagher?

Agreed always enjoyed my last few visits to grovesnor vale and before that northwood! The teams have alot of non league history together in the late 70s and 80s when both top conference sides that were always pushing for promotion or having good trophy or fa cup runs, I think there's a mutual respect there on that basis

I'll be there - for the same reason I went to Tonbridge - to see an ex Premier League star!
The one and only Glen Little - pending international clearance
