After all the negative threads that have appeared on here of late, thought i would start a new thread where we could look forward to the new season. Are we happy with what we have seen so far and what have we all made of our academy boys that have played so far?

Really looking forward to the new season, I think we have a strong squad and the academy players have impressed me, would be good to sign another striker though

Given the displays in pre-season I am quite happy with our prospects for the coming season. The new signings have fitted in quickly and well. We have a bit of a swagger about us and look ready for the season to start.
We do need another striker and I'm sure one will come along soon, if not Fabio can play up front?

Very happy S King is not with us. All the players have been very positive so far. And the one to watch is Charlie Robertson

I think there is a great balance to the squad from the defence right through to the forwards. Great to see Charlie Robertson doing so well. Are we signing Orlando Smith. Looking very good for the season.

We've looked decent at times in pre season and also very average too! Very much looking forward to the new campaign it's great to be back in the premier again and we are much better place and stability wise to mount a challenge now! Off the new players worgs,Orlando and frannie who needs some help up there have all looked class and shown they all should be playing higher! For me I've seen all friendlies except faversham and have yet to be impressed with Richard Davies and lea Dawson yet! Think the step up will be beyond them! Danny lye will struggle! We need browny and Micky Philips in midfield! And what has draycott been up too not a lot he needs to get his act together! The youngster Charlie Robertson has looked like he's been around in the side for ages! I expect a few players to go after a while when not being up to it when the league gets underway!

While I've only seen the Calais and Luton matches, I've been impressed by Mr Lye, he has continued his improvement from last season. I no longer groan when his name is read out on the team list!

Chuffed that Charley Robertson has done so well. Will be a good player to have around the squad this year. Only 17 too! I also think Jack Sullivan has looked very assured whenever he has played, and also think Ross Bassan will come good (scored tonight I see) as will Dan Parkinson and Dan Johnson. Perhaps the latter three would benefit more from dual registrations at this time. Also nice to see some players who have literally started under 18 football in the last couple of weeks making the bench for the Folkestone game.

Ha ha headstone! Still gives the ball away too much it will be that little bit quicker which means he will be under pressure more and quicker which means more mistakes more balls given away and yes more yellow cards for late tackles leading to more we've seen it the last time in the premier and it wasnt good!

Not a fan of Danny Lye, but have to admit he's had a good preseason, but from our previous visit to this league I think we need more than Danny has, but as he's signed I'd be happy to be wrong! As for the squad, we've got the makings of a decent season, need two players in my opinion a holding midfielder and a big fast striker to help Frannie There was a couple of brothers that played for Hastings, Olorunda or something like that, they'd be perfect! Anyone know what they're doing?
