Think the league really want us playing at home on Saturdays as the next two rounds of the FA Cup and Trophy all coincide with away games which would have to be rearranged mid-week, luckily none of the Suffock trips.
Sat Sept 28th A Canvey Island (FA Cup 2nd Q) Sat Oct 12th A Wingate and Finchley (FA Cup 3rd Q) Sat Nov 2nd A Bognor Regis (FA Trophy 2Q) Sat Nov 16th A Dulwich (FA Trophy 3Q)

Harrumph! I was just checking on t'Interweb to see whether you can combine a trip to the RAF Museum at Hendon with the footy away to Hendon on 17 August (you can't, Hendon seems to be a remarkably large and unconnected area), when the good woman told me we are visiting friends in Folkestone that weekend, arranged as I carried out my research. Blimey, you really have to get the fixtures on to the calendar very quickly, don't you!

I wonder how long until we get some Wealdstone fans on this forum, they are very proud of the fact they have the largest away following - until now that is.
Think they took 400 to Whitehawk last season (judging by the increase in Whitehawks attendence for that game), that was a relatively nice Saturday afternoon.
How many did we take to Dulwich on that cold Tuesday night?

Should by some miracle Thurrock's arbitration happen in the near future and they are successful, presumably we will be their first home game back in the Ryman Prem on Tue 13 Aug, instead of going to Carshalton.

Sat Oct 26th is FAC 4th qualifying round so I guess it's kept clear in case any Ryman teams are still involved and may require a replay. But the majority of Isthmian League teams won't be involved in the FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round, and even those that are may not require a replay. Why not arrange midweek league fixtures for October and then they can be rescheduled if necessary? Any team reaching the 4th Qualifying Round of the FA Cup and not requiring a replay in the 3rd Qualifying Round or the FA Trophy 1st Qualifying Round will go four weeks with no league fixtures and no midweek matches. Then there are midweek league matches already scheduled for mid-January. It doesn't make sense to me.

Hey makes a lot of sense, but then footballing authorities don't always use common sense or think of the fans.

Wealdstone will be a good yardstick as we were rubbish against them in the last stay in the Premier, 1 win out of 8.
