Osborne wasn't on the bench was he? Draycott, booth, sobers, hill, ibrahim. Shame he's out though, great to see Stubbs in middle of park.

Boothy came on and calmed us down, held the ball, played the right pass and got lucky with a deflection. Thought Danny Lye had a good game too. I would like to see Stubbsy in midfield but we look better at right back with him there! Massive game Saturday just hope I can get home tomorrow in time to get a ticket as I fear the bandwagon may collapse!

Didn't understand the Ade substitution at the time, but what an inspired substitution it turned out to be. Well done Jay, great call. Lyzee, made several ball wining tackles in midfield, won every header he went for, very solid all round performance. My mom. Does anyone know if there will be a cup of some sort presented to the winners on saturday ?

Just listened to Jays chat after the game, he said he was disappointed that the main stand booed when Ade went off and Booth came on Was it "BOOOO" or "BOOOOOTH"? I thought the latter so joined in

It was good to see Tom Mills pushing forward a lot more than he has been last night. We put them under a lot of pressure at times during the match. Their GK again made some fine saves to deny us more goals (although his kicking was very poor at times).
If we are to play forwards who are in form, then Paul Booth needs to start on Saturday.

I thought the latter so joined in I think some were a little aghast at Ade coming off but these were amplified (or so it seemed) by people shouting Boooooth.

Can't make my mind up over this. Boothy should be starting but then he and King do not seem to work all that well together. I quite like Booth off the bench.

I thought Ade wasn't having a good game at all, he was caught in possession frequently, didn't control passes, and worst of all sent a weak header straight at Delo for his only clear chance. When Booth came on, the whole team started to play better - and on the ground.

That maybe so but i though out of the players upfront King was having the poorer of the game, which is a shame as i half expected him to grab the winner, I'm not sure whether it was the occasion that got to King or the fact he was playing his old team who probably know him inside and out, anyway it will be interesting to see who starts upfront on Saturday, i would be tempted to go for Ade and King again and maybe bring Booth on later, on your 2nd point about the team settling down when Booth came on i would have to agree but thought King disappeared from the game when Booth came on, anyway it was a fantastic result, one final point is about the Folkestone fans who were in good voice and added to the occasion, well done chaps you did your team proud

I actually thought that it was a really good game, especially in the first half, played at an unrelenting pace and was at times a defensive masterclass from both teams. I don't get the criticism of the referee as he was no worse than average. Lye had probably his best game yet and has improved dramatically as a player this season, cutting out the silly fouls and passes to the opposition that used to blight his game. King and Ade played well but were held by a very good and disciplined Folkestone defence, and it took a fresh pair of legs and the experience of Paul Booth (plus a bit of luck) to break through. I'd agree that Booth and King aren't a natural partnership - too similar in style for me. In my opinion, our strike partnership should be King or Booth with Ade or Draycott.
Although I haven't mentioned him yet, because I expect this to be relatively uncontroversial, my man of the match was Steve Watt.

I actually thought Stubbsy played really well last night at right back, he had to deal with a lot, being shoved about and consistently having his shirt pulled but winning the ball a lot of the time! Can't believe no one has mentioned or if they have i haven't seen it, the shirt pulling at corners from Folkestone players on particularly Steve Watt, his shirt was ripped in quite a few places. Danny Lye was MOTM no doubt about that, people have to remember he is a footballing genius and the inventor of total football! On the booing subject well i certainly thought everyone was shouting "BOOOOOTHH" because thats what i was shouting , so maybe thats what Jay was referring too. The ref and linesman were truly awful! Bring on saturday and COYS!!!!!!!
