Very unfair to fans like myself who live outside Kent, but stuck with the club during the dark days of the Kent county league.Work keeps me away from travelling over to Maidstone from the South coast until monday afternoon and by then they will probably be sold out.

I would have to agree, we've had a number of loyal fans that have supported this club home and away for years, but because they live a distance away don't have season tickets because they cant make all mid week games These supporters will probably be at the last game but have to come back on the Sunday for a ticket to see the club they have followed for years! That doesn't seem right to me! However, this may be the situation that Bill was hinting at last last when we spoke So hopefully the club can find a solution to this

I'm sure the club will find a solution because they wont want to alienate those fans who have stuck with the club through thick and thin.
The club seem to have been put in quite a difficult position in terms of having no choice but to make it all ticket.
My idea would be to hand out tickets on Saturday, without fans having to actually pay for them at the time. When and If we get to the final etc, fans simply present these tickets at the turnstyle and pay for them then. That way all fans who turn up on Saturday will have tickets for the final (without paying for them) and there will be no issue with refunding people should we not get to the final.

Not much help this time, but in the future maybe the club could issue a loyalty card to non-season ticket holders that you could get stamped for every home game you attend. These could then be used like season tickets to get priorty when purchasing one-off tickets such as cup matches and play-offs. Of course you'd probably still have to attend the game(s) at which the tickets are on sale.

I'm in the same boat as Southwick. I can't get down till Monday and anyway it's a long way down from Walthamstow just to get a ticket and then back the next day for the match. However not really sure what else the club could at such short notice.

I guess the real problem is that the opposition will have be granted an allocation of tickets. I'm not sure what this could be, but a guesstimate in the region of 300-500 depending on who we are playing? That would leave room for maybe just 1,800 Stones.
When tickets go on general sale, is it limited to one per person? Otherwise I know someone else who will be really disappointed in not being able to attend.
Shame the club didn't give out vouchers at Chipstead last night to save coming back on Sun. I do appreciate this is a difficult issue to arrange in such a short timescale and its impossible to please everybody.

The oppo get 600 according to this place, well a bloke from hythe logged on to let us know they'd been notified of this.
You've hit the nail on head there mackster. Unfortunately because of the timescale & the fact we have to go all ticket there's going to be a few unhappy stones supporters out there. It's a logistical nightmare!

True - but how many season ticket holders are there, and do they really need until 2pm on a Sunday to buy tickets?

Hello!
We’ve just over 400 season ticket holders and we know that not all of them will be able to stay and queue on Saturday night. Therefore, we’re open for three hours on Sunday for those who can’t wait or make the Horsham game – after that it’s general sale.
The Spitfire Lounge will be open and showing the 1.30pm Reading v QPR and 4pm Arsenal v Man Utd and we’ll be here until 7pm (at the earliest!)
We’ve already had some offers of help to sell them and if you’d like to help too, just let me know.
Oh, and if you are a far-flung-fan…get in touch and we will try and help as best we can…that’s all I can promise x

Thanks Nadine. Apologies, I'm sure this has been covered, but to double check, when the tickets go on general sale at the ground, how many tickets can each person buy?

Just buy a ticket from the club we are playing. They won't sell them all

I know the club doesn't have to but if I start missing out on big games after having watched some real dross over 15 years then I will question whether it is actually what I wanted. The upshot would be that I would probably come less in the future and go watch Herne Bay or something (silver lining to all probs eh Tim? - Before you say it!)

To be honest I don't think the club ever thought they would be in this position and I don't mean the play offs, the size of the crowds has been amazing and far exceeded everybodys expectations, I don't for one moment believe the club are happy to disappoint any fan of Maidstone but unfortunately due to the way the league gave decided to share the tickets some people will be disappointed, I think its amazing that we have to offer 600 tickets to the away team, it should be an average of their home attendance but again this isn't the fault of the management it's the league, I think it has already been mentioned but maybe next season non season ticket holders should be given a loyalty card which is stamped when people come to the home games and then those who have attended a certain number of games get priority.
