I thought there was an air of despondency around the stadium in the 1st half and to be honest i was expecting the worst, but the tream plugged away and managed to get the opening goal which i thought we would build on but we didnt and started playing deeper and deeper, didnt see Watts goal but obviously there was confusion between the keeper and defender, i also thought the keeper shouted if he was going for the ball, never mind, thankfully Kingy got the 2nd and settled the game in our favour, i thought Danny Lye and Micky Phililps both had good games and i am not being sarcastic. The Ramsgate fans were a good bunch both before and after the game.

Yes, very nervous game for all concerned. We just need to stick together and support the boys with as much singing as we can, less of the groaning, they don't need that. My heart sunk when I saw Watts og, there was debate about the keeper not shouting etc, but only people behind that goal can comment on that. Such a relief to see the net bulge for our winner (no I didn't see the goal itself) and all the cheers. Give the boys credit they didn't give up. A special apology to Alex as I shouted out pretty loud "sort it out Flisher, come on!" only for him to score 5-10 mins later!! It certainly shut me up... Now, onwards and upwards to Three Bridges Saturday, the next 5 games is more than crucial with 3 points needed each time. WE CAN DO IT... COYS!!!! P.S Roystyboy - no harm came to me when you fell back on me on Saturday. Thanks for the pm anyway

I was in the town end and derren did give the call and watty tried to duck out of it then as he ducked it hit him on back of head. Very weird atmosphere today lot of regulars missing also maybe not so much beer drank as work tomorrow??

Good 3 points today and did what we had to do (just!) ,agree with everyone's comments about the game, just thought we missed Rory on the right with no natural width out there.....and fair play to kingy he seems to have really bedded in as a stones player now and showing why he's been the leagues top scorer, three bridges here we come #3 points #COYS

Fair play to the Ramsgate supporters shaking the hands of anyone from Maidstone at the end. Without meaning to sound condescending shows how far they've come. The players and support from by the Swale can learn a thing or seven from them. Good luck with the run in, be great if a Kent team won it, very impressed with your stadium, and im pleased that your now seeing The NEW Rams fans and realsie the all the dickweeds have gone, Good Luck

Poor game, but its the result that matters and that goal could prove huge come the end of the season. Must admit I never jeard a call from deren for the goal. Ramsgate fans were gobby as anything but showed dignity at the end. Shame one of our fans were calling fellow supporters inbreds in the first half as they couldnt tell the difference between stones and rams fans for some reason.
Roysty...sorry to hear the news mate...hope he makes a full and quick recovery mate x

And, when said "inbred" is wearing neither 'yellow' nor red, said reason holds no credence

Man of the match for me today, a player I've often been critical of in the past, Danny Lye was superb. Also was excellent against Sittingbourne until the ref saw fit to curtail his involvement.
