whats all this town end library end stuff. we've been through all this before. if this is all because of the comments of 1 person last week then theres no need to seek beef with others. most move to town end second half anyway. town end boys are great, keep up the noise peace, love and maidstone united Damn right. Also, the library is behind the main stand. From when I was up in the VP seats for Merstham game, I noticed the following: - The Town End sang more in the first half, but the Springfield End were louder when they did sing. - The Town End was far louder in the second half than in the first, because vocal people all congregated there rather than being split between the two ends. And as islandstone correctly points out, very few people stand at the Springfield end both halves, so identifying people by ends doesn't really make sense anyway.

if we all stood together it would be rocking big time.

Hammerjay and 'Antstone I made one reference to the library end...and that was in a sentence saying "we're not the library end". Still, using facts has never been your fortè has it

Was definitely inside the box. Was a foul...very soft though. The shove on Ade late on was more of a foul but not given

Looked a good metre outside the box. Think everyone down that end was surprised to see it given. Maybe not giving the one a few minutes before was playing on the refs mind.
All in all I don't think we played particularly well although at this stage of the season a win is all that matters. Having seen Dulwich as well I'd say they are the better footballing side although man for man we win hands down. In all the games I've seen this season, somethings missing from the team which i can't put my finger on.

Eastbourne are a pretty decent side however we completely controlled the game, well organised and focused. A couple of mentions. Danny Lye I thought done really well in midfield. A couple of mistakes but won mostly everything and was very vocal throughout and Deren managed to clear out when he needed to, much better.

From the main stand around the half way line it looked outside. I was quite happy on this occasion to defer to the linesman however, after all it's about time a bad decision went in our favour.
Off topic for a moment - does anyone know if there's a setting on this forum to change the spell checker to English rather than US. I refuse to type favor just because the yanks can't spell.

Maybe spellchecker is overstating it. The quick reply box underlines mis-spelt words in red but doesn't offer any correction options.

I personally think we created lots of half chances, and was trying to play the right way, another day think we could have doubled the score line, but we got the result that was required. Can't really remember del having to make a proper safe, they only looked dangerous from corners. Let's hope we keep it tight on Tuesday, clean sheet means we can't be beaten, of Eastbourne beat dulwich, we have to be confident of getting something.
