What a coincidence that your reaction to your opening sentence is echoed by everybody who reads it

Thought I'd check what you were on about. So everybody offers a yippee done sarcastically in a downbeat and fed up fashion. Cheers. Very nice of you to say so.

We need a confidence-boosting good win to get us ready for the Dulwich game.

In my humble opinion i believe this game and the 3 games that follow will define our season, i am hoping for a confidence building win of 3-1 on Saturday against Eastbourne and then on Tuesday against Dulwich i would happily settle for a point, we are brilliant away and they have a good record at home....COYS

Looking forward to it, this will be our first game in 14 days, whilst Dull Itch will be starting their 4th match in less than 9 days
That said, Eastbourne are in a cracking spell of form, won 4 of their last 5, including the 2-0 over 'amlet, likewise Whitstable have won 2 of their last 3 including the 4-1 over Faversham.
Bit concerned at the weather forecast, snow fall expected in the early hours of Saturday morning, another postponement cant be ruled out meaning that its just possible we could be going to Champions Hill next Tuesday, all square on points and games played...

I was at Eastbourne away and although we won 3-0 (I think ) they were a very good side. We went 1 up through a penalty and they had a player sent off. Only got the last 2 goals late on when they tired. In between our our first and second goals they were the better side. I think we'll have a difficult afternoon on our hands. However at this stage of the season I think 2-0 in font of 1927 people
