That is what they are hoping for, the club are pushing for the league to confirm this as they are saying the travelling and poor attendances are crippling them

They have a high of 190 and average of 120 so it's not like they have a large home following, although if in south div will obviously have more Kent games.

I think that is what they are hoping for more local derbies

East Thurrock! Where Chris Smalling scored his last goal for the Stones if I remember correctly? And Alex Tiesse, Steve!

Awe,, Alex Tiesse.. probably the most over-rated waste of money since.. Pedro Knight! actually saw Tiesse play for Kent Football United earlier this season against Tunbridge Wells and I was telling a friend how rubbish Tiesse was. Seconds later young Alex beat three defenders and rounded the keeper to score a cracker. That, I suppose, kept up his one goal in 30 games record.

Alex Tiesse 36 starts 37 sub 18 goals We've had a lot worse, and that record doesn't justify the vitriol. Still, don't let the facts spoil a good story

Tiesse was OK, I do seem to remember him having a mare in that game vs East Thurrock though. His pace added another dimension to what was an excellent forward line (Takaloo, Rowland, Austin and Tiesse).
That East Thurrock game was also Smalling's last for us I believe...
Edit it still annoys me a bit that some people pronounced Tiesse's name as 'Teace'.

Well we all have our faves don't we. Alex was good to watch but let's just say his shooting was not the best. More sub appearances than starts says something...

We have had better
But definitely not an "overrated waste of money"
