Our crowd was down tonight to 1,005 as a few stayed away to watch the other MUFC lose (haha) and that is our lowest league gate of the season, but looking around the Ryman leagues, we did ok. Cray Wanderers 85, Brentwood 30, Potters Bar 45, Soham 83, Tilbury 40, Witham 70, Horhsam 79, Ramsgate 67.

To get 1000 considering the game that was on ITV, good showing. That's 1000 people who have the bug...
We are always going to be one of those teams that has a large difference between Saturday and Tuesday games purely because of the walk by traffic we get on a weekend afternoon.

That's our last home midweek game of the season (apart from the Bank holiday), so to keep above 1,000 all season is fantastic.

Over 1000 on a Tuesday night with Man U v real Madrid on TV was a fantastic turnout. Not sure about the passing trade on a Saturday, crowds of between 1600 and 1800 seem rather too consistent for there to be much passing trade. Most clubs' midweek crowds are down by about a third so anywhere between 1000 and 1300 would be about right.

I think the walk by traffic he refers to are the lads out for a few beers who think it will be good to see some footie into the bargain. Not literally people walking by. It really has to be spelt out for you doesn't it?

Fair play to the Folkestone fans - thought they made a decent bit of noise last night, although drowned out once the Town End kicked back in during the second half.

It really has to be spelt out for you doesn't it? I knew exactly what he meant, after all how many random people actually walk past JWW. I'm just not convinced it's the case. I suspect the vast majority of our saturday crowd attend at least semi-regularly.

Well as with myself, some people have work commitments, so how ever much I want to get to every game, I just can't make them all, I'm sure it's the same for others

the Town End kicked back in during the second half. Cant say I noticed that. Still cant work out why people choose to watch from the end their team is defending

Still cant work out why people choose to watch from the end their team is defending Because they prefer that end, it's smaller and easier to create atmos, it's nearer the bar and the smoking areas. Honestly! Have people lost their brains today!

I think it's the fact that you can manage to get there so they choose to stay at the Town End
