Another thing to consider is that finishing second gives us a home play off semi and if we win that a home play off final.
In a one off semi I would still back us to win likewise a one off home final.
If we can hold our nerve they will potentially be two cracking games- we just have to find some kind of form in the next two months

So if the Play Off's started tomorrow we'd be at home to Folkestone ( probably )............
Mmmmmm us v's the clever & superbly drilled Folkestone D.

We have three easier matches (on paper) coming up. I hope that the team can start to settle and clock up some points...

As has been said many times, aside from dulwich, our best performances have come in the cup games, which is why - should it come to the playoffs - I would be very confident of success

I do seem to remember a conversation we all had on here a few years ago as to wether it would be preferable to be promoted via the play offs. You do get potentially two cracking cup finals and an exciting end to the season. Only problem is the sort of thing that happened to Dul wich and the Met, its not always the best team that wins them, as in any cup game.

We have three easier matches (on paper) coming up. I hope that the team can start to settle and clock up some points... Herne Bay have been playing a bit better recently (with one Mr Bewick picking up MOM awards). However, this seems to be mainly away from home. If we want some comfort for Saturday then this comment from their forum might provide it. "If only Herne Bay can reproduce their away form in front of their home fans where they have not won (or scored) for three months. Next up is Maidstone at home…anything is possible."
