Hopefully, we can get back to winning ways.
Personally, I would revert to the Welford/Booth partnership that looked so good earlier in the season. It is the middle of the park where the real problems lie because we have no natural right-sided midfielder. At the back I would like to see some pace in the middle and some organisation so that we don't let in the soft goals of yesterday.

I will be in attendance and hopefully we can start another long undefeated run, NWS I dont think It matters who we have up front, we need to sort out the midfield and start to pass the ball around and maybe then we can get back to playing well again like at the start of the season, we have the players to make teams suffer....COYS

Don't disagree, TA. I just want to return to a time when we were passing the ball around and playing neat football. We were way too good for teams when we did this. It seems that just prior to Christmas we reverted to a more Hume/Walkeresque style of belting it, which coincided with our struggling to overcome teams.

I don't think we have played well at home in the league since Dulwich, god that seems so very long ago, passing football is the way to go especially with the players we have.

Absolutely. I have not been enjoying home games as much lately. We have good players who can play the ball so I don't get why we are playing in this lazy style

We seem to play much better away from home, it's as if the perfect pitch at the Gallaghers is a disadvantage to us, most of the away teams seem to play really well on it.

Does anyone think that the Maidstone boys are struggling to live up to the expectations of a large home crowd. Its seems to me there is a lack of confidence at the moment and its almost a relief to play away from the Gallagher. Went to the Hythe away game and we looked a completley different team, going Folkestone away sat hoping for better things!!

I would have to agree with you, i have been saying the same thing all season, we seem to play better away from the Gallaghers, its like a big weight has been lifted from the players shoulders when we are away, with the exception of the East Thurrock game when we were abysmal, fingers crossed for Tuesday and Saturday's away games

TBF it's been that way for years, even when at Sittingbourne and Ashford our best performances were away from 'home'
I said ages ago if you take out the cups and Dulwich we really have not played well all season, so why are we surprised now?
Why do we get up for the big cup games but not the league?
We started the season with an unbalanced squad, and we've tinkered with it for months to get a side that hoofs it long!
