you all seem so holier than thou. God, if we'd of had this internet/forum thingy 20 odd years ago, most of us would have been banished. 3000 of us for a start for chanting racist abuse at a certain Gillingham goalkeeper every time he kicked the ball. I'll assume you're joking with some of it but things have changed in the last few decades. Racism is not acceptable anymore and although it did happen we all know it wouldn't now. The homophobic chants would have been fine at the same time but is no longer welcome. As for church I go to the Mosque for prayers on a friday.

Surprised to see so many of you comment on a Sunday morning and weren't at church, as you all seem so holier than thou. God, if we'd of had this internet/forum thingy 20 odd years ago, most of us would have been banished. 3000 of us for a start for chanting racist abuse at a certain Gillingham goalkeeper every time he kicked the ball. Personally, I blame the team and management. If we'd of won, none of this would've happened. Obviously your the brains of the outfit, you must be some sort of idiot to come onto a forum and boast about racially abusing players, I know of a lovely club in South London that will welcome your sort, so why don't you sod off with your stupid comments you knob

I'm a new supporter this year, who has gone to the majority of home games this year and yesterday was the worst vibe I've had whilst being at the ground. After reading on here what happened at the town end it is really quite embarrassing, i wasnt near the event (i normally stand in front of the main stand so didnt see it). I can only hope something major is done to stop this from occurring again.
What made the vibe bad for me yesterday was some fans attitudes towards players and jay Saunders. At the end of the game we left to leave from exit a, so we got held up as the players left by the entrance/exit. One 'fan' took it upon himself to shout at jay 'your keeper's shit mate'. Jay actually confronted the guy and asked him to repeat, which the bloke did and jay looked rightly angry and gave a sarcastic comment back saying 'well, thanks for coming' and then when derren walked past he shouted again 'you're crap mate'. It was exceedingly awkward but what made me more annoyed is we were standing about 5 metres away from stewards who said nothing to the 'fan'. I felt like I should have told him to shut up but It is not in our place for us the fans to deal with this issue and put the man in his place. The stewards should be doing this. Much like the incident behind the goal should have been dealt with!

(Sorry, I just can't get rid of this racist streak in me)

I don't care if it was 20 minutes ago or 200 years ago, coming onto a forum and boasting about racially abusing a player whenever your brother did it, in my opinion isn't the brightest thing to do, I am allowed my opinion just like your allowed yours and I personally can't stand anybody who is proud to say he was or still is a racist, that's probably the difference between me and your brother.

So are you saying the difference is that you don't admit to it?

At what point in his post did he ever imply he was proud? At what point did he ever boast?
He just pointed out that he was amongst 3,000 who did it 20 odd years ago.
Molehill....Mountain

Ah NWS I thought Maidstone United was a family and community club obviously I am wrong, I don't appreciate people who either condone racial abuse or take part in it, however long ago they took part in it, once a racist always a racist in my humble opinion, a leopard never changes it's spots. I attend all home games and will be at the game on Tuesday night if anybody wishes to have a chat with me.

I was just having fun with you. I hate racist chants, ones that mock the dead etc. I didn't join in with them 20/30 years ago and certainly won't condone them now. I was merely enjoying the fact that you are getting so annoyed with everyone. Someone who is annoyed on a forum represents opportunity to a pest like me
