Where to start with this one...
Leatherhead frankly deserved to win, they had more chances & more of the game. Some serious questions about our ability to defend and our pace at the back.
Also, little creativity in midfield. A nice Ben Davisson cameo for the last 20 minutes would have been great, oh, hang on, some problem there......
Lots of prawn sandwiches thrown all over the place in the main stand.
FWIW I thought that Tim O was immense at the back & certainly am not criticising him........

Trouble with playing Tim at the back is that it means we have a certain Mr Lye in midfield, and I'm sorry but he just doesn't give us the same in there that Tim does, the defense always looks better when Tim is in front of them. I though we were pretty poor all over the pitch today, especially in the second half. Leatherhead were the better side but it doesn't make them a pleasure to watch with all the whining, rolling around on the floor and general graceless behaviour.
However, I reserve my main criticism for the ref. He allowed Leatherhead to ref the game, and he twice allowed them to form a wall a scant 7 yards from the ball. Rather than make us take the free kick anyway, he should have booked everyone in the wall and allowed us to wait until they were back the full 10 yards.

Yep Leatherhead were the better team. Have been saying all season that we need a decent centre back. Our home form is going to cost us promotion!!! Need to sort it out as soon as possible.

Where to start, I was concerned at kick off with our line up, Danny Lye and Michael Phillips in central midfield meant we had absolutely no pace in the centre of the park, Flish had a good game as usual and I thought King also played well and his link up play is getting better, Welford had a strange sort of game and during the 1st half didn't get much change against there number 4, one final comment is we have a near perfect pitch yet we persist with lumping the ball forward at every opportunity instead of passing the ball around, we have the players. We now have to focus on Tuesdays game and get a result against Corinthian-Casuals

We certainly got what we deserved. Thought we seemed too slow and certainly not tight enough for their goals. We seemed to be a yard behind them all over the park. Agree Timmy O was fantastic , again.

f**k me, if we had won the game you wouldn't of mentioned Davisson. Jay picks the team and obviously Danny Lye is a decent player other wise he wouldn't be here. Your an embarrassment. Watch MOTD and moan to your wife about that. The better team won. King is a class player. Glad to see Flish back.

Says so much about our back four when a midfielder looks far better than the regulars. Time to stop lumping the ball forward and try to get back the passing style that worked well earlier in the season. What was the point releasing Davisson in the week when we had no defensive cover and subsequently lost a midfielder to the back four? Ade wasn't about this week as the school where he teaches have a trip and will also miss Tuesday I heard Bill Williams saying. With Ben Greenhalgh looking like he is on his way, Warren Whitely gone surely we can afford Davisson?
That aside well played Leatherhead they deserved the win, but we have got stop giving sides so many chances at home. I would bet we have dropped mo points at home than any other side in the top half.

Andy, we've only lost twice at home all season...doesn't seem to me our home form is all that shabby.
mau5 - steady on, we're all entitled to our opinion. I don't know why Davisson was released, which is why I haven't commented on it. However, I stand by my opinion on Danny Lye, I just don't see what he gives us, and the back four always looks better with Tim in the holding role. If Ward's injured again then we desperately need Humphries back in the side, because without at least one of those two we just don't look strong enough.

I would bet we have dropped mo points at home than any other side in the top half. On home form we are second only to Dulwich. It's a bit of a strange league as away performance over the whole league is better than home.

Ok we have only lost 2 games at home, but when was the last time you walked away from a home game saying " god we played well". Just think away teams are enjoying the big crowds and are playing football on the decent surface where as we just seem to hit the long ball all the time.

Sure the best team won, but what an unpleasant bunch of individuals leatherhead are. To me for the second Saturday running they have bullied the ref and the ref has been too weak to stand up to them. If you read previous reports from other clubs they have a reputation for this.
