Gutted to see Ben go. My first season watching the mighty Stones and Ben was one of my favourite players, along with Millsy and Flisch. Very talented. Enjoyed his performance away at Grays. It's a shame he was out injured and has not been able to stay in Jay's plans, but wish him all the best. I am sure he has a great future ahead of him.

don't understand this at all, davisson was bossing games at the start of the season. must be more to it than meets the eye.

Very strange decision but Jay knows best Hmmm, time will tell on that one! I agree, it does seem odd that we wait all this time to get the lad on the pitch, and then release him, must be something else behind it. He'd been outstanding before the injury

Totally confused.....
We have lots of strikers, lots of defenders but who links up the two ends of the pitch ??
I don't understand it.
I really enjoyed Ben's skill & really wish him well elsewhere ( unless he becomes a Mangle or moves to Thanet ).........

Danny Why's gonna hoof it to 5 strikers who are gonna bash it in the net! We're going to sell the middle bit of plastic for a 5 aside pitch to fund the stadia improvements! ;D

Mr Lye is a good "utility" player to have about, he can play (stop sniggering at the back skydweller) defence or midfield. He'll never be our best player but one way or another usually does alright without setting the world alight. As mentioned he can slot in a few positions, seems happy to be a squad player (be on the bench, come on for 20mins here and there where needed) too.
Phillips. How can you drop him since he came in? He's been superb. Very consistent too.
Flisher. Nuff said.
Brown. I'd pick him over Davisson everytime. Again seems very versatile too.
T. Olorunda. Completely different roles.
Greenhalgh. Seems a good player a la Davisson. However, I'm worried he'll piss off the first chance he gets (he's never hidden the fact he's using us a stepping stone tbf). I would have kept Davisson over Greenhalgh, however with Flish coming back and Brown able to fill in there Mr D would have been a squad player again.
I think it's another case of the "Bewicks". Good player, but got injured at an unfortunate time and can't fight his way back / wants regular first team action.
Good little player who I'm sorry to see go, just can't see him getting into our 1st XI at the moment.

That's all very well, but if we rotated a bit more we could keep more of our better fringe players happy. If we get another couple of injurys if could be struggling again

The only footballing reason I can see is that he's a bit lightweight. In terms of ability, he's the best we've got...(had). Superb first touch can take him into space, a good range of passing, and bundles of energy. You expect players to come and go at this level, but this is one that has really disappointed me - I'm sure he'll carve out a decent career for himself from the game, and I wish him well

Yes but when we hoof the ball up looking for the head of a striker with his back to goal, who needs a creative midfield player with ball control and passing skills playing on one of the best surfaces in non-league football?
