Close miss for me, as this was one I had down as a fairly definite away, until domestic stuff intervened.

Stones Live have been repeating the Ipswich game - can't hear that too often. It's just finished - Fred goes from professional, reasonably calm, reasonably nonpartisan, to absolute scenes!

Bristol telephones play warminster town in the western league division 1, as of now the game is still definitely on And the vote in the car is 1 for and 3 against so home and pub it is. Missed a cracker of a game  |

If you want another over excited commentary on that game the Radio Kent commentary is still available on YouTube. Well worth a listen. There are about 4 radio commentaries on You Tube, in addition to the tv ones. Have listened to the run up to ist goal many a time - just love the way the tone of commentary changes in about 1 second when they realise that Reynolds is through on goal. Also enjoyed the Radio 5 live commentary - It’s funny how just before the goal they all go on about what it would mean for Maidstone to reach half time at 0-0. I’ve only heard RK, 5 Live and Talksport. Keep trying to find one from an Ipswich perspective but Radio Suffolk either didn’t cover the game or deleted their commentary. |

Well worth a a watch/listen imo. I’ve seen that. It’s the only full version I can still find online. I think it was ITV. It seems to have been completely blanked from BBC Suffolk. There’s 8 minutes extended highlights from what I assume is Ipswich TV and I still have a recording of the BBC coverage. Of the 3 radio commentaries I’ve heard the Radio Kent one is absolutely off the scale mental when we score. Well worth a listen. |

That goal together with Alex Brown’s against Margate and Frannie’s second against Stevenage won me a club shop voucher a few years ago when we had to pick our top three goals at The Gallagher. |
