I’ve watched a bit of women’s football over the years. It’s a bit like the teams picked in the school playground where they always put the short fat kid in goal. Thats very personally insulting for womens teams goalkeepers DaveU Ask him where he played

Thats very personally insulting for womens teams goalkeepers DaveU How was it personal. It was perhaps an unfair generalisation based on my observations of a few years ago.

I never played Leeds, so I'm guessing you were higher up Started off playing for the reserves in Division 5. The first team played in 3 initially and when the reserves folded I played for the firsts and we eventually go promoted to the premier. I won league titles for divs 3, 2, 1 and premier. Also won 3 league cups and runners up in the Kent Junior. Weirdly from the season we got promoted from division 3 it was then the bottom division and as the league continued to shrink, every time we got promoted the division we were in folded so we remained in the bottom division until we reached the premier by which time there were only two divisions. A few years after I gave up playing in 2005 the league folded completely.

Woodcombe not a household name opponent.
What level are we playing at, and could we aspire to a semi pro league?
