One of the best players ever to don a Maidstone shirt (IMHO) came on loan from Palace first team squad in London Road days. Shame he had the worst knees ever known in football, would play 2 miss 6 - but boy could he play, midfielder with phenomenal vision and ability - Dave Madden Wasn't it the Watling Street Days? Pretty sure it was....and a permeant? Didn't last long... You might be right - thought it was on loan, but it was London Road days, and he did have to retire - just couldn't get on the pitch enough |

Bringing back Sol would be a real sign of desperation, and I would question what the heck is Elokobi doing.
He was with us for 2 years and spent a lot of it injured, and he's not exactly done much for Bath since signing for them.......surely we can find someone better who isn't constantly injured.

Can't argue with that, although on the other side of the coin he did well before he joined Stones and I always thought he was a talent.

Yeah but then we saw him play regularly and realised he was any I ask myself would Dorking, Worthing, Eastbourne, Farnborough, Torquay or Truro sign him? And I think we all know the answer So why are we? |

Why can't we bring Krasniqi back? Surely there's a clause in the loan agreement that allows early release if we're short of players?
I haven't seen much of him, but I thought he was OK. Certainly one of George's better buys.

Elokobi got rid for a reason and we really don’t need him. Why aren’t we playing Coulthirst either? Just absolutely baffled by this

I'm a fan of wanjau-smith, but still can't help but feel that a player who hasn't got into a team for a club who is in 19th place, and spent most of last season injured, is on paper a poor signing. Let's hope he plays better on a pitch.
