Both Sol and Sam were a bit injury prone so maybe that’s why we didn’t offer new contracts, although I thought Sol wanted to be closer to home so may not have renewed anyway.

Just my opinion but I'd have them both back. Bone cause he's decent and got local roots. Sol would win loads of free kicks and we now have, in Brookes and Seaman, two excellent dead ball takers. Blair apart, the replacements up front have not been an improvement IMHO. It will not happen tho, very rare for managers to acknowledge their errors. Would be a strength imo tho.

Coulson would have been great but I think with how Weston are playing at the moment I'd be surprised if he wanted to go.

I am not sure where we were shopping with some of the summer signings ?

I can understand the argument that we can't compete with Boreham Wood (even if I don't altogether agree - some things are worth paying for) but if we can't take a player from Chelmsford, something going is seriously wrong

Foyo is on loan from Ipswich who have a good relationship loaning academy players to Chelmsford, bit like Worthing with Brighton. Definite plus if you can get the youngsters from that standard
Just wonder who our friendly big club is to help us out. Welling have affiliation with Charlton, Gillingham seem happy to send the U21's to Dartford
Don't say Bromley

Shame he had the worst knees ever known in football, would play 2 miss 6 - but boy could he play, midfielder with phenomenal vision and ability - Dave Madden
