In two minds about this one. In theory, it's a Cup game, so I want to be there. But it's a fair old way by train and the coach will get there before midday, traffic allowing - three hours to kill, and a ground in the middle of nowhere, sandwiched between two factories! Anyone been there? Yes,there us a pub 10-15 minute walk away which last time I went there had a smashed window and smashed door with blood stains from the previous evening. The barman was Mr Magoo and was literally blind as a bat and charging people full price for half empty pints that he thought were full but thankfully the landlord (his son) arrived full of apologies and went around with jugs topping up people's beer. The pub itself was OK and no sign of trouble on the day, can't remember if it done food but there was a chippie just round the corner.

Anyone been there? How do you work out the coach will get there in under 2.5 hours. Probably 1pm at the earliest if they don’t stop at Oxford services which they did when going to Halesowen.

The coach leaves at 9:30 from the library - it will get there in time.

There's a pub on the nearby housing estate called the Damson that's about 10-15 minutes away - is that the one? Looks like a typical 60s estate pub from Street View. Not much on their OS for away supporters...

Interesting bit of synchronicity with us and Solihull Moors - we were both promoted to the NL for the first time in 2016, and finished 2 places ( 14 & 16) and just 3 points apart - and again the following season - 19th and 18th - this time with the same points.
Didn't quite continue in the third season though - they came 2nd - and we didn't...

We still talk about it, coach unlikely to get there at 12, more like 12.30 to 1 Which is what I’d have gone for it I was running it, which I’m not anymore!
