I am definitely losing it... I meant 70000 the 4-6-2 Britannia. My dad used to be a right spotter - we're talking 1950s here - and used to cycle into London from Braintree as a lad on his spotting journeys. This spilt over into train sets when I was a lad and the pride of the loco collection was the Hornby Britannia. No idea where it is now but probably worth quite a bit.
The table at post 1 has been updated following the M25 going all Chris Rea yesterday.
The trident brandished by Poseidon - or Neptune if you like - illustrates beautifully the theory of serendipity, fate and self determination, there's a left, a right or straight on. The film Sliding Doors is exactly the same in that respect - the path not chosen and it manifests itself on this forum and in this distraction where one often zigs instead of zagging. Sometimes you should have gone with your gut when you know that Stones will break your heart again with a last second equaliser, or that one fan would be overruled by their nearest and dearest and have to go shopping instead of going to the footy meaning that there was one person less through the turnstile...
Anyway, most us were let down again in the home game against Sluff with only 1018 and Stonethecrow recognising that the football gods would once again drip their misfortune onto our hapless defence to rip two points from our despairing grip. Everyone else was backing the Stones to break their winless streak at home. The attendance was well contested with several people getting within 10% of the total, but jdl was pipped to the points by bear5 who himself was just one off. The first paragraph covers this...
Anyway, the M25 having put paid to the trip to Aveley attention turns to Hemel at home on Saturday. The Aveley predictions have been noted and saved for whenever the game is rearranged, but you can always change your mind nearer the time.

Liked the 2-6-4Ts, but a Brit more understandable. Not sure a Hornby model would be worth that much. Quality was dubious compared to today's models (where £300 is becoming the norm). Older, Hornby Dublo/Wrenn models from 1950s can command decent prices, but need to be pristine and in a pristine box too.
