Bloody Worthing 1 - Mighty Stones 2
Att 1,515
I don't really believe this, but I just can't predict losses or draws...
Going to be my fault if we lose, anyway - I'm on a run of three wins in three away games, but can't make the Worthing game.

The table at post 1 has been updated following the Worthing game.
Cries of witchcraft and an upsurge in the sales of kindling would ordinarily follow a wild prediction completely out of kilter with the rest of the community but in these relatively enlightened times royalstone doesn't get burnt at the stake but instead is roundly lauded, rewarded with five points and gets the bragging rights for at least a week. There were seven other heretics and one has to wonder how many of Sennockian, jdl, Clydestone and yours truly were secretly hoping for a consolation goal for Worthing in order to further their (lets face it selfish) ambitions? Also afflicted with a massive dose of optimism were daveu and jte who predicted five or six goal thrillers and Nick who was close but nonetheless ambitious - I'll have a pint of whatever they were on... Absolutely everyone undershot on the attendance, only the most optimistic of us - jte - got anywhere close to the official attendance and that along with the win pushed them up a mahoosive 13 places in the table.
It's back to the FA Cup again this weekend so no official prediction competition, we'll be back for the 19th October when we are home to Slough. Assuming there is no FA Cup replay (our last chance to experience one this season) we are then away to Aveley, so the table might not get updated until after that game.

I'm ashamed to say it did cross my mind! But I was mostly just surprised that Worthing didn't score - I still carry the scars of that play-off semi...
