Hi everyone, I’m probably not going to be able to update the table before the Chelmsford game (not that many people predicted anything other than a defeat 🤣) so predict away and I’ll see you on the other side 👍🏼

The table at post 1 has been updated following the BW game.
Against All Odds will always be one of the greatest albums by a drummer of the 20th Century (ask/blame your grandparents kids) and could well be used to describe the gaining of an improbable point in darkest Hertfordshire. Also against all odds comes this update - courtesy of a slightly slacker Tuesday morning than I thought.
Hardly anyone picked up points for predicting this although it paid off for Hongkongstone who found himself back in the happy hunting ground of the 1-1 draw. The only other successful predictor was Dan who weighed in with a double whammy by pipping table topper Raymondo316 to the closest attendance by just three.
Tonight sees the visit of Chelmsford City who like us made the play-offs last season but succumbed to their local rivals Braintree. Chelmsford are now majority owned by Spencer Gore who's stated aim is for Chelmsford to make it to the Football League. More senior readers will remember that proud boast by Jim Thompson almost fifty years ago...
Three more players joined the game last weekend bringing us to a new record of 36 participants, so welcome to Terry (could it be that Terry?) and welcome back to Rob and Stonethecrow.
The table will be updated again following tonight's game.

Hmmm, we lost this fixture last season, but won away and Chelmsford seem to be suffering acute travel sickness this season having lost at Slough, Weston and Truro shipping two goals each time. This should be a home win but I'm not mid-table for no reason, so it is not without trepidation that I suggest 2-1 to the Stones in front of 2168.
