Corne's goal sublime, but our 5th was an absolute shut you eyes and smash it screamer. See that we were kicking towards ds the Town End, yet again, in the second half. Time to scrap the coin toss for that privilege and let the home team choose.

Thought at the time Sol had “earned” us another penalty but from the highlights it was a clear and obvious penalty.
Also although not clear from the highlights my conviction that the move that led to their goal was offside is even stronger. How could he have been that far ahead of the defender without starting from an offside position.

How could he have been that far ahead of the defender without starting from an offside position. Exactly my thoughts - it did look like W-S had just gone down. I said to my daughter how useless the ref was to be fooled so easily - good job I'm not a ref! And that player was so far ahead, even given the poor angle the camera had, I don't see how he wasn't offside. I've re-watched that several times, and no one else on the pitch is anywhere near him. Still poor defending from us, though (and the corner).

Thinking about that camera angle, I'm starting to think that the new TV position isn't as good as the old one. It looks better, because the backdrop is now the MS, not the river side, so it shows off the stadium much better, and we can now see both corners. But he's a lot closer to the pitch than he was, so close up on that side the angles just aren't good. That 'off-side' was an excellent illustration of the problem.
That press-box thingy should have been built further back (although I realise they're never going to move it!). It needs a touch of 'amber' paint too - and a few ads or sponsorship signs.
