Better tonight, kept on grinding for the whole 90mins. Beat Farnborough on sat and we would be guaranteed the playoffs Thats not going to be easy. Farnborough have only lost once in 13 matches and that was to Yeovil and they have won their last 7 games !!!

It’ll be about getting the points needed and getting some rest in between and trying to do that without any more injuries.

7 points from 3 games in 6 days is a bloody excellent return. Huge well done to George and the lads.

A crowd of 126 to witness the game means Taunton must have lost a fortune tonight and they were already in dire straits financially .

Think I will go for a 1-1 draw on this one.

Taunton and Truro may have fixture backlogs, but neither have helped us either. Friday, Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday - six games in 15 days from Good Friday.

Not surprising attendance, even the home fans had a 140 mile round trip. You have to feel for Taunton. But, realistically it does rather indicate that they've been promoted one division too far. Not just for them, but for the rest of us too. For instance, us having to play a distant away game just two days after a double weekend, and in the middle of trying to ensure a good playoff finish. We could easily have lost another two point last night, and that could have made a difference to our playoff chances. The NL need to widen their promotion criteria to include things like frequency of grounds being unplayable.

Do Taunton not have any season ticket holders to include in their attendance?
Also, if you’re a season ticket holder and a game is moved miles away, do you get a refund?

More to the point, if you're a season ticket holder and you have moved a thousand miles away (albeit only for a week), do you get a refund?!

Anyone know how many of the 126 were away fans?

So you have shifted your position from 'pretty unstoppable' to 'unstoppable'. Clearly your confidence levels are moving towards towards a Lala land level of complacency. I would wait till you catch sight of the 'fat lady' if I were you.

Really ? Do I sense that somebody having second or even third thoughts ?
I seem to recall that your 'pretty unstoppable' comment was in the context of you providing a stack of evidence of Stones getting positive results.
On the lines of Win, win, win, points in the bag, the form team, George the great motivator, supporters being a 12th man, etc etc.
So was the 'pretty unstoppable' comment at the time, perhaps even more slightly tongue in cheek than the latest 'unstoppable' ?
Or are you having second thoughts that winning the play-offs may not be quite a cakewalk after all ?
