What ? We beat Chelmsford home and away. Drew away at Yeovil and beat them at home. Spanked Worthing at home and got spanked back. It was the silly little games that cost us Marathon, not a sprint - they both ended up above us, and one of them knocked us out of the play-offs. You said we failed to challenge them. I was just pointing out that we beat them………. |

Its the same for everybody.
You have off days and you drop points.
Lets be honest there were not many matches last season when Stones played the opposition off the park.
To get the points tally we did was because we were a bit better.
But well short of National League standard.
Which is why George wants to strengthen the team now.

Bit surprised Lucas Covolan got offered a new contract bearing in mind he was one of the 3 social media 'culprits', with the other 2 being shown the door.
Anyhow the fact that he's packed his bags, left his digs in Maidstone and is currently many hundreds of miles away, gives a hint as to the likely outcome.
