Was it just me or did anyone else feel that the Coventry building society arena experience was way way too corporate? It felt like being at the Exel or O2 that had a pitch put in to host a football match and the corporate mantras from the huge tv screen were constant and irritating right up to the refs kick off whistle. Ipswich was far better as it least it felt like a football club. Thanks be to Oliver and Terry that we own our ground!

I paid £7.50 to watch that. Biggest load of hapless, gutless, spineless garbage I have ever witnessed. Who do I contact for a refund?

Again Hayrettin spotted the problem exactly; weak in both penalty areas. That is the players' fault. They had a number of clear chances yesterday. They defended abysmally for all three goals, and a number of other fairly clear chances that Eastbourne had. I am getting the impression that these full-timers are just no good. Elokobi was all at sea yesterday. I've seen him play one excellent game this season (Hemel Hempstead at home where he passed along the ground and scored a headed goal), and I've been to all home games and six away. He is not good enough to be given an automatic place in the first eleven. As for captain? Well .... And why drop Johnson after a decent show against Welling? Our passing and movement out of defence this season has been primary school standard. We need to sign a captain who can command the area up to the half way line. I feel sorry for our manager. He has spent most of this season playing second fiddle to John Still in a contrived position as Head Coach. He has faced the KM after most of the disappointing results. John Still has commanded most of the accolades and confidence of observers. Four defeats, pressure from the supporters, a failing drive for the playoffs, and Hayrettin is suddenly made full time manager with the contract for one season! We have been promised by implication a year of consolidation and rebuilding, followed by a year of promotion. He has taken on a poisoned chalice it seems to me. Next season could be very difficult if he doesn't clear out some of this disappointing group. But has he got the skill and resources to rebuild in his own right, on his own, a full time squad capable and willing to launch a promotion challenge next season? Just cant see what John Still has done this time around. Half hearted commitment from the start - when at the end of last season he was supposedly away 'scouting for players'. He should have been around building a relationship with the players and the fans.

Don't like you last sentence mrplow but it was another unconvincing and worrying interview. Agree - should never make light of mental illness - especially as the whole population exists on a varying scale of mental illness or health

They were not that special a team, and at times we passed it around nicely. That was about it. Throw in the odd howler and never looking like scoring, together with a disorganised defence and that about sums up why I wont be disappointed not to see them play again this season.

I can answer that - everyone is panicking unnecessarily.

One thing is guaranteed - more National League South games will be OFF tomorrow than ON.

Looking at the weather forecast for Saturday, could be doubtful whether match will go ahead.

Back to near enough full strength for today. Means that only 3 points on the board at the end of the match will satisfy play off hopes. Stones have been held back this season by the number of draws, not to mention late goals conceded. It's a must win game. Not another 'must win' game. We are told we have around twenty of those a year 😂⚽️

Shouldn't this be in the Pub Guide thread? Never heard of let alone been to the 'GATEHOUSE'. Is it a classy establishment?

You indulge selfish people. How were the two that delayed the coach looking out for their own? Right let’s get this into perspective, the two fans are imusc members and have been on coaches before and have never caused any problems to me They always book on here via a pm unfortunately I’ve never asked them for a mobile number that is entirely my fault but something that I will correct The game was passed fit and when we got off the coach I doubt anyone thought the game would be postponed at 1.30 certainly not me I often go to a local pub like many others on the coach, unusually most of us this time used the clubhouse On another day we could have been waiting for 30 plus The fault lies with Billericay and me for not having a contact number To leave without them is a ridiculous suggestion What I can't believe Tim is that the match referee leaves it until 1.30pm to arrive and decide whether the match can be played. If this is the norm for referees, then the norm has to change.

Don't know if you realise, but two fans who wandered off to town kept up waiting on the coach for twenty minutes before we could go home. Sure it wouldn't have been you though. "wandered off" - which planet are you on? Ah - not you then
