Better tonight, kept on grinding for the whole 90mins. Beat Farnborough on sat and we would be guaranteed the playoffs Thats not going to be easy. Farnborough have only lost once in 13 matches and that was to Yeovil and they have won their last 7 games !!!

Sword you are a bitter man. Imagine the outcry if the club reserved tickets for out of town supporters to the detriment of locals. Glory hunters from Tonbridge and beyond getting priority over locals who may be encouraged to attend more than one game. I am sure that if anyone is keen enough they will find a way to get a local to buy a ticket for them. The club expect to sell their allocation which surprises me. Monday will see a lot of sick notes, hospital or dental appointments and fans in disguise in case the camera picks them out. If all else fails I am sure tickets will be available in the away stands as they do not fill the stadium. Tell me how you would find a better way to sell the tickets. And with your recent luck please put a hefty bet on a Coventry win. I can tell you that myself and Steve Hemsley both live further away than Sword. We once stood (or laid) in a crowd of 4 people watching Maidstone United. In 2009, I organised a pub crawl, with a few other hardy locals on it and we raised £115 towards the Gallagher. In 2010 I traipsed through the snow in Rugby to raise money for the ground. In 2007 I rode from Oxford to Sittingbourne to raise money for the club. I've forked pitches to get games on, sold raffle tickets and driven hundreds and thousands of miles to watch us. In all that time I've lived in Maidstone for about 12 months in total. I've lived in Carlisle, Rugby, Brighton, Worthing, Sydenham, Lordswood and Croydon. Are you suggesting some Herbert wanting to go to his second game (Ipswich being the first) is more worthy or more likely to return? If it were not for some kindly soul getting me a ticket, I'd not have been able to get to the Gallagher until Tuesday. Why? Because I'm already halfway to Devon to watch us at Taunton. Nice rant Adrien. Did you actually ever go to and stand and watch at any games at The Athletic Ground ?

Farnham Town of the Combined counties league have won their opening 22 games of the league season and are claiming this is an English football record,I'm not so sure. Does anyone know? Contrast that with Sturminster Marshall of the Dorset Premier League, they’ve lost all 21 of their opening fixtures, scoring just 6 times and conceding 222 goals They could be right on that. Man City won 21 straight 2020-21 Apparently the record is held by The New Saints 27 matches in Cymru Premier League 2016-17 It could be argued that they are an English team since they play at home in Oswestry Shropshire. There again it could be argued that they are half English half Welsh since they are the result of an amalgamation of Oswestry FC and Llansantffraid FC Powys. But who knows ??!!!

To be honest all of this is not new but compared to games like Corby Town away many years ago when police and stewards were the only things between us and the local Scottish brigade trying to get at us with huge blades and machetes. I even remember one plod being literally thrown ,airborne, down about 20 steps. Yes pigs can fly. Stafford away when it was around 250 home fans against 20 Stones fans and the coppers laughing saying your all big enough to look after yourselves. We had to rip the back of the stand off to make weapons. Happy Days Ah, the Good Old Days Sword. My favorite memories are of the London Tavern top of Week Street on a Saturday night after a game down at the Athletic ground when the Squaddies were let loose from Invicta Park ! Great memories.

I think that you might find that Bivash is actually English Daveu - born of Nepalese parents in England but I'll stand corrected without birth certificate evidence and your obvious inside knowledge I think he has dual nationality. Certainly read somewhere recently that he’s in talks with the Nepalese FA about representing them internationally. Having said that I probably should have said Asian descent rather than just Asian. Agreed mate but no worries. I wonder what country he would chose to play for if ever got the chance ? COYS

Who/what are Punjeb Utd? Are they all Asian, or am I missing the point?! (Not there tonight - if that isn't obvious...) Pretty sure Bivesh was the only Asian on the pitch tonight I think that you might find that Bivash is actually English Daveu - born of Nepalese parents in England but I'll stand corrected without birth certificate evidence and your obvious inside knowledge
