Well if it’s postponed I’ll go and support our U23’s versus Sevenoaks at the Gallagher, 3pm ko - at least we know this match will be on! - and the U23’s are definitely worth watching - average age 19 years and currently top of their league - yep, definitely worth watching - COYS!

Local player I believe - played through Bearsted youth team/Kent League - about 20 years old - highly rated, but not tested at our level or NLS so far - we’ll just have to wait and see and give him the best chance/support to make it.

The Woke ng game will be a much needed ‘training game’ to allow HW to shuffle his new pack of players and try to get closer to his desired system, formation and personnel - we’ve got good enough players now, they just need to gel very quickly - win or lose at Woking is not as important as getting things settled for our league battles ahead - COYS!!!

/ - we could do with an analysis like this for all of our games - interesting! Whatever our problems we’ll only survive & thrive by sticking together behind the Stones - have your say by all means, but remain positive - our vocal support from the Genco was a bit subdued at times, but the finale chorus was fantastic & even the main stand responded ... you could also see the team thriving on it - well done! WHAT? Maidstone Council Meeting to reconsider selling land to the Stones WHEN? Wed 22 Nov at 7 pm WHERE? Town Hall, High Street, M/s YOU? You can show your support of our club by attending the meeting - scarves, shirts & all, BUT no chanting in the building - a BIG show outside may influence the decision- so if you are interested in this and want to support the continued growth of the club, please attend - we can probably get 100 inside the Town Hall - turn up by 6.45pm - if we can get a BIG crowd the meeting Chairperson has said she is minded to discuss our item first.

Kevin Toner has joined Stevenage on loan from Aston Villa.
The young defender has signed on a one year deal. ....... seem to recall 'our Kevin' followed a similar path ..... on his way to Dagenham.........

Great news 😀 - it's a BIG bonus for us, but not for others! - it makes my season ticket renewal well worth it to see more skills & goals - he's a great talent for us to enjoy for (perhaps) one more season ⚽️ - hope Jay can get Joe Pon board now - COYS 😃

Well done for taking the initiative which will benefit & enhance the match experience for supporters. I'm pleased to make a contribution - I'm sure many others will also, just visit www.gofundme.com/mufc-flag-and-banner How about the supporters group collecting for that much talked about Scoreboard? - not sure why it didn't materialise last season, but maybe lack of a sponsor/funding bearing inmind how much was spent on the other ground improvements? So, put your hand in your pocket and support these initiatives - COYS! - all together now!

Just for info we went on a 'spying mission' to Woking 0 v 0 Boreham Wood today - low quality physical battle on a 'dead' pitch with a fair bit of sand on it - Delano played (7/10) subbed after about 70 mins - 1 save by BW keeper in last 5 mins - otherwise no goal worthy efforts - so nothing to fear from either side really, but BW will be hard to break down - Woking played 3 5 2 and best players were wing backs no.2 & no.14; & striker no.9 - Delano was ok, but didn't get the best supply unlike when he was with us. Woking are a totally passive crowd so our supporters WILL have a great day there - roll on on 25th March! COYS ⚽ COYS ⚽[/quote]
