Well I'm glad we are out of the Cup! Now Harry can concentrate on what he does best. Talk us into relegation!

Think I got hold of the other half of it! Either that or it's the disappointment in our new manager, that's leaving such a bad taste in my mouth!

No if they had wanted that they would have kept DM - younger than Jay and more successful at this level!

Well summarised sdg Some posts far too negative. Really liked the look of our 2 debutants. Swaine strong and commanding for 44 minutes (hopefully his injury is minor). Smith looks a class act and did everything calmly and confidently. Pax and Phillips very competitive in midfield with a good passing game. Would have been good to have some wider options, a lot is being asked of Turgott to play on both flanks. Cassidy and Romain had decent games but the former did miss a sitter from close to the penalty spot. Still strong at the back, competitive in midfield and improving up front. Even Gold managed to impress for the first time when he came on as sub. Overall, quite encouaging Blimey nick, I admire the ' Glass half full ' attitude, but 'encouraging' really? We just dropped into the relegation zone - by drawing against a team in absolute turmoil, players not being paid, not knowing if they have a job tomorrow, losing their coach their assistant manager and having the worst home record in the league! If we are wrong being negative about that, when do you think it would right to be negative? Can't possibly see us having a better chance than that, of getting three points away this season so, No, unlike you I don't think it was encouraging and a borrowed keeper was the only reason it wasn't a damn site worse!

What happens if the current bottom 4 go down? Look's as though we would have to play in the Northern Section!

Wait a minute though - That could have been the best result of the season for Lee, if Dover stay up with a point more than us, at the end of the season!

Heard D&R were trying to off-load Romain to help free-up cash for making an offer to Ebbsfleet for the return of Cheek, (who they rate above Romain) but who is unable to get in the Fleet team!

Only Stewart Lewis can realistically answer that one. My own belief is that he knew he wanted out 24 hours after HW was made manager and Hessenwanker the hairy chimp probably wanted him at Eastleigh so it good fate for Lewis that he moved to the Crabble I think you could be right. Maybe he wasn't happy with Jay going and/or Harry coming in and has been looking to get away since then. That would certainly explain his recent performances. He's a player whose game is basically to give 110% all the time, so if he can't do that because his heart is no longer in it, then his weaknesses become more apparent. It will be interesting to see how he gets on at Dover. Their motm I think (not too shabby against the League Leaders on your Debut) and made the Kent online team of the week!
