Sword and nws are getting a bit over themselves.
He did wrong, no question, but in the great scheme of things, there are many, many, worse offences.
Has he apologised ? YES ! Is he sorry ? YES ! Has he served his punishment ? YES !
His crime should not be a life sentence. Zouma should be given another chance imo.

He made a mistake, he served his punishment. Get over it. So you are dictating principles now? I'm with Sword on this. If he is gonna be playing then it's not for me. I was gonna trot along yesterday until I saw his name on the team sheet, Saturday. I also agree. And for dave u 'do ya wanna be in my gang, oh yeah'

He made a mistake, he served his punishment. Get over it. Scum don't change, next you'll be telling me Gary Glitter has a 40 year old girlfriend So presumably you boycott Timpsons because many of their shops are run by ex-cons who are given a chance to rehabilitate themselves?

If we are not careful the player could turn out to be the real victim. The long term injury and repercussions could last for many, many years and I'm not talking about the cat. Some seriously harsh and intolerant views have been expressed. Are they really standing up for commendable principles ? Just feels all too 'holier than thou'. Too intolerant and unforgiving.

How an out of NWS and Sword don’t want to come if he is playing, then fine?
Why are we debating that they should do?
Principles.

No need to use Timpsons though I admit I didn't know that fact. Here is a little fact of my own. I spent 35 years helping ,mostly women, those who were abused beaten up and tortured just like that poor cat. I've looked into the eyes of the Scum that did it and I've seen them come crawling on their hands and knees begging forgiveness as reformed characters, wives and girlfriends giving them second chances only to end up dead or beaten to a pulp within weeks.Scum do not change, they fo not want to change. I'd also like to point out that everyone thought Mario Celaire was a nice bloke. I know 75% of our supporters will not know who he is but I hope he is never released from prison. I will also put my hand up to being no angel ,I've put people in hospital but I've never hit anyone who didn't deserve it and I'll do it again if sine piece if shit asks for it. Not one penny of my money will go into Zouma's wallet, I'll leave it to you to pay his wages whilst he laughs in your faces.

The World can be a hateful place if you look hard enough but this argument is def OTT and lacking in perspective.

The World can be a hateful place if you look hard enough but this argument is def OTT and lacking in perspective. Abuse,is abuse at any level. I cannot and will not condone it. He is not fit to wear the sacred black and amber shirt and the only reason he is here is because Dagenham and their fans do not want him back, i wonder why? This will be my last word on the subject as I find myself getting increasingly upset. I await George's decision if Zouma stays I will leave until he is gone again and as I will not be watching the club I love there will be no point being on the forum either and I'm sure that will make you all happy.

Every time I walk past a Timpsons I wonder to myself, what did he do?
I don’t particularly want him here, but will trust George’s judgement. Only he knows if Zouma’s contrition is real.
In Elokobi we trust.

I sympathise with Swordy and feel sorry for those who just can’t accept his strong views which he is more than entitled to hold and I agree with a lot, but not all, of what he says.
My feeling is yes Zouma deserves forgiveness and a second chance.
My point is that should have come from his parent club not from us as he is theirs to forgive, not Maidstone.
Hak did not bring Zouma in for his redemption he was just desperate for anything he could get as a defender and that was an appallingly lack of judgement on his part.
If Daggers had played him several games first and taken all the flak for doing so fair enough but they didn’t so it’s difficult to see why we should be the ones and it does seem like Dagenham and Zouma are having a laugh at our expense.
If Zouma is truly repentant let him say so in a public statement thanking the Stones for giving him a chance and Dagenham also issue a statement of full support for their player.
Otherwise for goodness sake send him back to his employers.
Just my view.

What are you talking about ? You would think this is breaking news or something. Zouma has apologised and expressed his regrets time and time again. He served his community service and is trying to get on with his life. More than even sword he knows what he did was a bad thing and regrets it. For God's sake give him a second chance in life.

Zouma's biggest offence is being a dick-head. He was charged with being an accessory to the offence which his brother carried out. Bad enough for sure. But he's been punished and expressed his regret plenty of times. Move on.

I do accept swords views but does it mean I have to agree with everything he says to the letter.
Surely it is ok to hold and express a different opinion ?

What I’m saying Rob is we are already the laughing stock of NL and it’s whipping boys this season without having to deal with other NL clubs sh1t as well, such as Zouma. Just my view.
