The NF and BNP were utterly defeated by the electorate, and some of us who literally fought them. They are minuscule groups with no influence on anything. Like it or not, many people are repulsed by BLM, including the Premier League who dropped them very early on. You’re clutching at straws. It’s also no coincidence that BLM’s biggest fans on this forum are the posters least tolerant of different opinions. So call me a complete f**king c**t again. It’s all you’ve got. www.theguardian.com/football/2020/sep/10/premier-league-drop-black-lives-matter-badge-from-shirts-for-own-campaignWould you personally tell a kneeling footballer you were repulsed by him taking a knee, to his face? I doubt you believe that.

Whether the kneeling is wrong or right, whether it makes things worse or not, whether it’s a losing battle or not, I assume we all agree that it is right to fight the battle in the small section of the community that we can - our stadium?
I think we have to accept that we have a pretty broad cross section of opinions on the bigger matter, and on other things like Brexit too.
You’ll never change each other’s minds on this forum.

I was there. Hythe fought well, Oldaker still their midfield maestro. If Leighton could sort his feet out in the penalty area they might have scored a couple more. But Dartford rained shots in until they got bored near the end. Alex Brown scored a screamer to equalise for Hythe, Frannie Collin was injured after 20 minutes, and James Rogers got booked. And the ref didn’t add any time for the frequent water stops. Great to hear Alex is still playing and scoring - always one of my favourites. What did you think of Dartford - are they as unstoppable as their results suggest? They'll be unstoppable until they meet a better team or have an off day or run out of first teamers due to injury or have five out suspended. I didn't mention Jake Robinson, who came on as a sub and missed a good chance. According to the programme away team rundown (submitted by Hythe), Alex Brown is 22 - shum mishtake shurely*! *I used to think this was a Sean Connery-ism, but discovered recently it was John Wells as Denis Thatcher in Private Eye.
