Not sure I understand the criticism of our management duo at St Albans. I was sat directly behind the dugouts and Hakan waved his arms about on 3 separate occasions ,I am not sure whether they were tactical waves or he was signalling, tic tac style, that our odds on winning had plummeted to 100/1. On 5 occasions he ventured to the bench to whisper sweet nothings into the lugholes of JS2 who,to his credit, was doing a magnificent impression of looking dead on the bench it's just a shame he wasnt wearing yellow he would have looked like a stuffed lemon. The two substitutions should have been made at half time and therefore Marshall would not have been on the pitch to score the winner . Interesting tweet from him apologising and saying he will he back hopefully back where we got him from. It could though have been a different story had someone got on the end of decent Amaluzor cross in the first few minutes but alas nobody did and that was Amaluzors last worthwhile contribution to the game. Hoyte and George were in hooftastic form and Wishart kept turning into to trouble at left back. Was Iffy Allen on the pitch? He was announced in the starting line up but I never saw him once. Akanbi cannot play up front on his own every game and needs help because he is starting to look very tired. The only player that cannot be criticised is Lewington who had nothing to do all game and had no chance with Marshall's excellent finish though it was at his near post and that us a bit of a no-no for keepers. Hard to find any positives at all, even the chips were shit and no mushy peas or gravy. Interesting that the mobile bar was situated right outside the gents and I wasnt willing to pay £4 for a pint of piss even though I paid £12 to watch our players take it.All in all a shit day at the office and before the game I was saying we should rest the first team on Tuesday in readiness for the next 2 league games but they dont deserve a rest and it is a good opportunity for the management to try and knock us into some sort of meaningful shape as opposed to a bunch of headless chickens. We are not out of play off contention but let us also note we are only 10 pts above the relegation places and more performances like today and we will be starting to look over our shoulders .

I said at the start of the year i had a brief chat with Teryy pre season an he admitted the club could not afford to be in the National League an did not want to go back up this year, now thats fine but why do they have to hide these things from the fans, they expect us to follow them week in week out all over the country which I dont mind doing but it would be really refreshing if for a change there was honesty across the board. No lies no false promises, because if they keep trying to pull the wool over fans eyes sooner or later gates will drop dramatically yes we have a lot to be thankful to the owners for but let,s not forget we as fans have helped them a lot in getting to where we are today by keeping the faith an showing our loyalty to the club. Your spot on mate. I gave my season ticket away today hopefully for someone else to appreciate it more. I can’t stomach the shit that’s being fed. I think we have some very good players, but they aren’t a very good team. Or maybe the management are just blagging it. Still is starting to remind me of Basset and Pleat. Yesterday’s men Hello Shamstone I was sitting opposite you on the coach and didnt even know it was you. You handed your season ticket to me but it was sennockian who finally took possession of it I only hope you dont regret your decision. I have felt like sending mine back to the club on several occasions ,especially last year ,but it's the for better or worse thing with me ,having watched us all through the wilderness years I cannot just stop now.

I’d rather be playing in Ryman prem with the likes of Jake Embury /Olutade Akanbi with a young exciting team than trying to strive for the National league with overpaid past it players ,trying to get back to the promised land that we know we can’t afford . Can we have a rethink please !

We were impacted by Noah's late withdrawal more than I initially feared we would be. Wishart has forgot how to defend in the left back role. Iffy & Justin never ran past their man enough and when they did the crossing was mediocre. Ibby has been off his best over the last two games. Gavin had his poorest game in a long time. His crossing was poor. Temelci has one weakness. He cannot head a ball. Overall the worst attacking performance of the season. Finally we never coped with their sloping pitch. Hadn't the first idea on how to play on it - overhit passes in the first and didn't have the desire to pass and drive our way up the pitch in the second.

Sad to say it but we cannot keep blaming the players sooner or later the managers have to step up an say it,s our fault this is how we train them to perform or get rid of the players an bring in players who will try, can we do any worse than start bringing on the u23. HH an JS need to remember the six P,s an what they stand for.

I think the next few weeks will show how much we want to really push for playoffs. It’s a dangerous game to play in some respect not addressing things in tactics/playing personnel because after last season there’s a lot of fans who were promised more cheer and it’s not been in great supply and that in the long term, will bring our gate down further with interests waining if they think the club isn’t really trying.
As I’ve mentioned previously, a striker is a priority along with decent defensive cover. Have to say Emmanuel to Wealdstone from Ricay would of been a decent capture but we probably are only able to offer a pie chips and mushy peas and a pint of spitfire with our budget constraints.
Temelci could go at any time also, as i believe he’s still on the turn up and we will sort you our agreement rather than any contract.
I’m yet to really see a well drilled side with a clear vision. Dorking away you could see their plan and they’ve stuck to it, and now we are in January it’s fairly concerning. Currently it seems like everyone has their own game plan rather than a collective

Sword should submit his post as a guest writer for PP. After adding paragraphs and punctuation.

When someone says something that is close to the truth , you lot slag him off or revert to pathetic jibes ... Then hold & behold , you all go on attacking the team , management & owners , so none of you are better than anyone who dares to say how he feels. You are all like a bunch of all women arguing amongst yourselves and none of you have a united solution , how to turn the fortune of our club round !. By all accounts & what the St. Albans site implied , it was a crap game played by 2 sides that were average and they were thankful for the 3 points they gained.

I was also sitting behind the dug out and it is a pity Sword did not report how Hak was continually shouting at the players to get forward in the second half. Time after time he shouted at Justin not to keep dropping back into his own half but to push up "And use your pace". He was also shouting at Ibby to hold the ball up. It did seem a small pitch and they seemed to have more players. Without the OG it would just have been a poor performance rather than a disaster. On the bright side Luton were watching Khan and that must have been his worst performance so I would be surprised if they came up with an offer that would tempt us.

By all accounts & what the St. Albans site implied , it was a crap game played by 2 sides that were average and they were thankful for the 3 points they gained. Excuse me Frenchstone but do not class us as all the same I am not on here arguing with any one, I come on here an post my views in between games or directly after a game my son an I have travelled to see, an after yesterdays game I did nail my colours to the mast an say that I am losing faith in the managers and in fact the owners as well. I follow the club week in week out home an away so I,m entitled to voice my opinions, an as I said sooner or later the managers need to accept that the poor performances are there fault. We should be able to beat the likes of St Albans Hemel Hempstead an Dorking an Tonbridge week after week yet we as a team run around like headless chickens we have managers waiting until the dying moments of a game before bringing on a sub which is pointless. In regards to turning the fortunes of the club around, I think that has to start with the owners being honest with us fans. They rely on us to turn up week after week, but whilst we are all grateful for them bringing the club back to Maidstone they must accept that they need are continued support and sadly if they continue to treat us like mushrooms some fans will stop going to games. I,m not saying we must be told every single deal that is struck at the club but some increased levels of honesty will boost fans confidence. So maybe if your looking for more positive posts may I suggest you recall some of the negative posts that you have put up for people to read.

I didn't manage to get up to St Albans on Saturday so not qualified to comment on the performance, but nobody disputes we were crap. Usual stuff from the usual suspects:
Alleging the owners of telling lies, making false promises and pulling the wool over our eyes, Blaming our useless management who are too old, Describing our players as overpaid and past it, Panacea of sacking all full time footballers and replacing them with young, local talent.
It takes all sorts to be a supporter, just seems that I hang out with fans who are very different to those who post negative bollocks on this forum. Obviously time for me to move on and leave you lot to slagging off pretty much everything associated with the club. Bye, bye !

I avoid slagging the players, managers and owners on here, because it won't change anything and I'm not a footballing expert. My job is to turn up, support the team, put a little money in the coffers, and hope for the best. That gives me enough of a feeling of belonging to keep returning.
